I suffer from severe panic attacks on a daily basis. im a perfect example of a person that needs medicine and is unable to get it because of so many people abusing prescription drugs. I have such severe anxiety and panic attacks and cant find a doctor to prescribe me xanax because im only 25 and its so addicting. but what they dont understand that i should be on xanax for the rest of my life because my anxiety is so bad. So if any1 knows a doctor in the monmouth county area of new jersey that will prescribe me xanax please let me know...thank u

Go to dr vorybyev in old bridge he will give you anything you need. I feel terrible for you I suffer also but take valium not as habit forming. Feel better

The problem is that no doctors will ever prescribe Xanax for life. You cannot possibly know that you will need Xanax for life. Xanax is a short life benzo and because of that it's more addictive than others. ( I take it and have no problem with feeling addictive for it) the doctor are not going to prescribed Xanax as the main medication to treat anxiety and or panic attacks. They will prescribe it in conjunction with another med. Xanax is more like if you feel a panic attack coming, taking a Xanax will stop the symptoms in a flash. Also, combining meds with CBI therapy is very helpful.

I'm 25 years old and have had an EXTREME anxiety and panic attack disorder since I've been 13 (for a short period they had me on diazepam and seroquel). The seroquel made me a zombie so i stopped all medications. I self-medicated most of my life because of the severe anxiety and attacks. I turned to heroin after awhile, that took away all my pain for the moment. I am now 2 years clean off of that s***, thank god. 2 years ago right after i got clean, i started experiencing the long lost anxiety i thought was gone or i guess just forgot. Right after that i was in a severe car accident, which magnified the anxiety 50xs. I couldn't even leave my house it was that bad. I went to go see a doctor who started me on 2mg of xanax daily, that didn't work so i went to go see a psychiatrist who finally prescribed me the correct dosage and meds. I take 300mg of wellbutrin XL, clonzepam 1mg 4xs daily, and alprazolam as needed. I've been on it now for about 2 years and i still suffer from anxiety. I've tried other non narcotic anti anxiety meds, I've tried almost every SSRI (anti-depressants) under the sun, the only thing that keeps my anxiety at bay in the klonopin. and the only thing that can stop my severe panic attacks is the xanax. Although its very addicting, it's worth it not to go through life with this horrible, paralyzing disorder. So Verwon, before you've gone through it don't make stupid suggestions. By the way, I'm in grad school going for my BA at the moment majoring in psychology and plan on getting my PsyD.

Look up Dr. Ferstandig. He's in ocean county, toms river and believe Monmouth too. He's a psychiatrist - will write for Xanax.

Can u please tell me what doctor u go to? I live in ehc and I have been looking and looking for a dr. I have the worst anxiety and I can't find someone who will give me what I need bc of my age and my history.

I called Dr Russell Ferstandig and looked him up. He was arrested but I guess he is back though lol. Does he really help?

Where can this doctor be located cause I can't find a doctor anywhere. I've been on this for 15 years and then I get these a**hole doctors. I don't need it ha.. N that's why my pulse is sky high n they think its drugs n then find out its not, n I tell them its because of my severe anxiety.. jersey is ridiculous so if I have to go to ac then so be it.

Does he really? I saw him awhile back ago. Very nice. I told him the amount of xanax I was and he gave it to me. Or I lied and said I was taking less than I was. Should I tell him the truth when I see him? I was taking 5 MG a day I told him 3. He had no issues writing it.

Hi is anyone on this board anymore?? I live in central NJ. KINDA OF middle of South and North. Closer to South. LOL. I GET AND HAVE THIS SECOND HORRIFIC IMPENDING DOOM TYPE OF ANXIETY ATTACKS. I HAVE BRAIN ZAPS. I AM VERBAL ABUSED SINCE A CHILD. I AM A FEMALE MID 30' BEEN on every med under the sun. Only one that works for the moment is XANAX. wth my luck. I knows it's addicting but CAN ANYONE RELATE TO MY HOW BADLY I FEEL. I start thinking weird thoguhts,then get a rush of fear,can't breathe, I been on 2 mg klonopins to cycle off the Xanax and it helped but it didn't all the time. I NEED A DR. WHO KNOWS OF ANXIETY DISORDERS OR PSTD. Can we help each other on here? I feel so ashamed???!!!!!!! I AM hysterical Aside from a Dr isn't there a online group were we can all freely talk. I am a good person I swear. I been through horrific life abuse. I feel like I am going to die now. Impending doom comes on worse and worse to wear the other week I was in the tub it got so bad I rushed out and took my med and cried and cried. So any Dr's in NJ will drive south that will understand I need maybe xanax ER? I heard that exists. And we're is everyone on here lol Please help me. Please. I even did ECT. AGAIN SEVERE PTSD NO HATE TO ME I FEEL SO ASHAMED AS IT IS. There has to be a Dr and MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE. And yes my dosing has been high in past I won't lie.

I finished my RX amount of Xanax a few days earlier. My DR. said he'd call the
pharmacy. I need to take Xanax, or I need something else. From New Jersey.

How much is initial visit and so forth? I do in fact suffer from crippling anxiety. I live in Howell so if it's a definite this guy has no problems prescribing I'd make the trip

I kind of understand what the main post about.. no one understands what anxiety does for someone.. my mother would never let me take any medication cause she didn't believe in it.. and I remember of having 3 bad panick attacks while younger and now my case changed to more mild.. But I shake a little and I don't know why. Always been like that since I was younger.. if you truly have anxiety u will know.. if i get nervous or pointed out I actually shake exclusively and it's so embarrassing. It holds u back from what u want to really do.

Now the last 2 weeks I have been like really weak and isolated.. where I can't move. So now I thought there could be something else wrong too.. and actually anema and anxiety will do that too cause I was looking up symptoms and those were the only 2 that came up. I hate the fact that I have this problem. And I did the same thing - I took a xanex here and there.. and tbh it dosent get u high.. it made me feel (I guess u can say the obvious) not nervous all the time. I'm sure people abuse it, especially mixing it with alcohol which is the worst to mix it with. Or if u take like way to much u get sleepy. But in my experience, I don't know if it's cause I actually should be prescribed that, it dosent get me high. Just like ADHD prescribed people it does the opposite when someone dosen't need it.

@Andy, I think I get what you are Trying to say. Still, every addict in opinion ooows they are and addict. Unfortunately, none of them can truly be helped until they acknowledge their problems and want the help. With Narcon coming such and integral part of emergency help hundreds of lives have been saved. Most of can clearly see that the majority of people here are drug seeking. Does of their reasoning, explanation are bizarre to say the least.
