Thank you Java I am sedated just want to help people and I know Dr. Beaucordray iiis the best. he is kind and understanding I hate to see people in pain. I will be ok going to EU to perform too many reminders in the house and city. The death of a child is oh so horrible, again thank you for your kindness SweeT TarT

Stay strong. Your daughter would only want the best for you and would be very sad to know how much pain your in. Think of the good times hang on to them tightly. We are all only on this plane for a brief moment. She would want nothing but the best for you. Time is one of the things that will help you through this. Although it will seem like an eternity, time will help. You will never stop hurting but you will be able to carry on as she would want for you, and in time you will be able to look back at memories and you will smile once again...

Hello Everyone,
I am just saying hello and do wish you all the best, in your search for help, you need. I am happy to hear you are getting help, NINTHWARDRAPPER, but sad to hear of your loss of your child. I, too, have lost my son, I do not know where he is, if he's alive and the last I heard, he lost his mind. I just lost my youngest brother, yesterday morning, my mother, earlier this year. I do understand how you are suffering from your losses. I had raised my brothers, until they were 9 and 12, because my mother broke down and was afraid to be alone with them. He is the youngest of all of us, suddenly coming up with CJD, a rare brain disease that punches holes in the brain. It was so shocking, so sudden, with his leaving his family behind.

Now, despite all this, I am trying to get others to read my posts, to help me spread the word, to those who can turn things around, for the better, for all of us. I started a petition, I mentioned, in my posts below. I also write to President Obama on his "Front Porch" site, where he asks to see how we all are doing. I am hoping to get more signatures and people to write to him. We can't be ignored and we all need our doctors and our medications, that are being taken away from us. I lost two primaries. I am no longer able to take the morphine, that was making me able to care for my fiance', who passed away from lung cancer. I am still trying to care for my ex-husband, whom I took off the streets, because he is blind and destitute, with no one to help him.

Yet, I am suffering so much. It is hard to keep positive, to go on, each day. I still have my Norco, but am only taking one, in the morning, two at night, because the pressure of my mattress is too much for my body. I haven't slept much at all. I can't find doctors who will continue my medications, the only ones that have helped me. I live 15 miles from the Mexico/US borders, in Sierra Vista, AZ and hoped someone would know of a doctor, in this area, (Bisbee, Tombstone, SV, Hereford or Palominas), where I can only travel to, to see. I have no pain clinics, the RA doctor left for Tucson, where there is a pain clinic, but I can't travel the four hours, back and forth to see. I hoped someone, on this site, would be able to tell me of a doctor, but alas, that hasn't happened.

I don't know how long I have, to be able to continue to help us all, with my work, but I will try, as long as I can still type, on my laptop. I must get the word out, about all of our suffering, the oppression, caused by the DEA/FDA and some politicians, who have no clue about the intense sufferings we are having. I am tired, as we all are, of being considered drug junkies/abusers, when we are only trying to live a more humane life. It is at this time, I wish I was an animal, maybe a cat or a dog, for they are treated more humanely, than all of us are being treated, at this time. Please, know, especially you, NINTHWARDRAPPER, that I have you all, in my heart, my prayers and may GOD bless you all...

I have chronic back pain (degenerate disk disease) I also have migraine's and a lot of other things going on. Have been on heavy pain meds for 6 years. The doctor I had can no longer prescribe them . And no other doctor I go to will prescribe them to me. Is there any Dr in Kansas city area KS or MO that will and five shots.
Need anyones help!

Marine Veteran here is it not great to put your life on the line for our country and they treat us like s***. I'm tired of being stepped on by this government. It is time to stand up and fined a lawyer that will take our case on and bring back our freedom. We have a right for what we need to live a pain free life. We have a right to take them to a court with a jury and tell our story. That we can not get the treatment we earned. With all the crap going on about the VA there is not a jury out there that would not fine for us the few the proud the Marine. Semper Fi. It is time to go on the offensive.

Judy, who are you posting to? If you are posting to me, I am not being judgemental. I know many of these people are in tremendous pain, as I am. I only posted to one who is bragging about "insufflating," (not telling the doctor) and those who are "shooting up" for pleasure. Everyone else, as you read, are suffering horribly. This, beyond my pain and suffering, is why I have started my petition, to "Stop the Oppression, (and judgement), of Chronic Pain Patients!" I am also, personally going to the Presidents, "Front Porch" site, as I mentioned below, to tell him of the 100 million chronic pain patients, who are losing our doctors, our medications, (the only last resort for us), because of the DEA/FDA and some politicians. I am trying, very hard, to get our word out, because so many are ignorant of our suffering. What are you doing, to help us all? That is, if you are referring to me. If you are going to post a comment, like you did, please be sure you address the person you are replying too. Thank you. May GOD Bless all the honest, intensely suffering chronic pain patients, may HE help us all to get the relief we need, to live a more humane life... Always!

I know I said I would not post again, I posted a Dr. But after reading the blurb from JUDY, I will post once more.

I sure would like to know who JUDY is referring to. Tsk Tsk on who? We are all here to help one another. Judge and Jury? Absolutely we should be Judge and Jury as WE are the ONLY ones who understand what we are going through.

Those who are on these panels, the DEA the FDA Politicians are not LISTENING even to the Dr's who have done trials, which show 100% that the opiate takers, had the most relief.

Maybe YOU are not a pain sufferer so how could YOU understand? The VA has completely taken away ANY pain medications for chronic pain sufferers and will only give Methadone.

Yes, the people on this site are in need, are in pain. So who are you wagging a finger at? You must agree with the DEA and FDA which means you don't belong on this site.

We don't need judgmental people, we have enough of that with the DEA and the FDA who has stripped the rights of DR's to help patients which means that the DEA and FDA has taken Dr's oath and through it out the door.

MARRIANE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. THE POSTER WHO STARTED A LEGAL CASE, TO CHALLENGE THE FDA AND DEA IN THAT WAY, IF YOU CAN FIND AN ATTORNEY. I WILL SIGN WHATEVER IS NEEDED. I AM TIRED OF GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM.

Can anyone give me a pain management doctor in the ROANOKE, VA area that will prescribe pain medicines to someone with cervical spine paraspinal muscle strain/muofascial syndrome and knee patellofemoral syndrome.

I was diagnosed with RA as a teen. I am 54 years old and although my doctor said I would be in a wheelchair 4 years ago, I have never given up. I actually took a second job just to try to remain as active as I could. I was on a regulated pain management system that worked for me. My doctor in San Antonio Texas passed away and I can't find anyone else in this crazy city to help. I am in pain management but the doc refuses to give me the quantity of what I have been taking for 6 years. So now I suffer more. Anyone know a doc in San Antonio?

Memsley, Drs aren't giving patients high quanities of meds like they use to. You will need to combine other forms of oain management with the smaller quanities of meds. Things like physical therapy, bio feedback, accpuncture, etc. There are also Psychologists who specialize in helping pain patients manage their pain.

I accept your apology and would like to hear from you again. I only wished some posters would write the name of the persons whom they are replying too. It is so hard to tell and I've been criticized for replying to posters who brag about abusing their opiates/narcotics, making it so hard for those who are trying to be out of pain. Some of us, have tried everything else. which never worked, making us like guinea pigs, with more pain. So, please accept my apology, too, I thought you were addressing me, like the junkies do. They shouldn't be on this site, only for the people who are suffering, in some form. Please tell us your story, perhaps we all can offer help to you, too? Perhaps I can help you navigate this site? There are so many postings, different forums, it can be confusing. I've posted in some of the others, too, trying to get everyone's attention to sign my petition and write to Obama. I will continue, until I can no longer physically do this, but with the help of others, the sooner we get attention, the sooner we will all be helped. This is my goal, to make our country, who's ignorant of our extreme suffering, know our situation and help us all. May GOD bless you, Judy. Again, thank you for the nice reply.

I know your reply wasn't towards me, but towards Memsley, however, I can tell you, personally, that physical therapy, doesn't work for people in chronic pain. I know, I had it, it was worse on my body. The reason is that one, in constant, chronic pain, can't have the physical therapy, around the clock. So what do they do, when they can't sleep at night, alone, suffering terribly. This is no answer. Also, most can't afford the other things, like hypnotism, therapy, heat treatments, etc. because the primary doctors are so high, these days, even with insurance, such as Medicare, which many seniors, living on a fixed income, can't afford, not to mention the medications, that don't work. Some people, are committing suicide, because they can no longer get their pain medications, the only thing that has made their lives more bearable, close to humane, as possible. They've been on them for years, never abused them, constantly being monitored, by their doctors and pharmacies, to be sure they didn't over dose or misuse their precious medications, yet, now, thanks to the DEA/FDA and others, without medical knowledge or suffering, are now oppressing us all, some losing our doctors, our medications and both! This is why I started my petition and writing directly to President Obama. We must be heard, the 100 million chronic pain sufferers. Memsley is no different, if Memsley had RA, since a young age, the way it goes, you can imagine his/her fingers/hands and feet, along with the other affected parts of the body, is twisted and in so much pain, nothing else works. I know this, for I have scoliosis, with RA in my spine, affecting the lower half of my body. I used to be very physical, ate healthy and yet, here I am, in so much pain, with no doctor who will see me, with my other illnesses and have no pain medication left. But, instead, I am trying to help all these sufferers, get their doctors back, their medications back, and make the DEA go after the real abusers/smugglers and cartels, leaving us to live our lives, more humanely. After all, they treat animals more humanely than chronic pain patients. If you only read all the stories, on this site, in other forums, and other sites of chronic pain, you would realize that there is no one answer to help with this extreme pain.

I don't live where you live, but because I am near the border, where the smugglers and cartels are very active, my life has changed for the worse. I'm afraid it has also spread to other people, like yourself, all over the country now. So, please, take a moment, scroll down to where I've posted before, click on the links, sign my petition and please write to President Obama, for I am writing many letters to him, telling about everyone's stories. I will bug them all, politicians, DEA/FDA and others, who are ignorant of our extreme sufferings, until they realize this is a serious situation for all of us. There are more and more, committing suicide, because of this, misdirected "War on Drugs."

I can't agree MORE. I tried to do therapy, I know all the moves by heart. they are mostly Yoga moves. I use to work out 6 days a week, was a size 5 and happy.

Yesterday, I did these physical therapy moves. Today, I am in SO MUCH PAIN! I a getting ready to head to the emergency room once again.

For the love of GOD, something has got to be done to help us. I can't live like this any longer. I have reached my end point. The DEA and FDA, I wish upon them what I am going through!

Also, I wrote to the president as you asked, I was invited to have lunch. Curious, did you get the same invitation?

Off to the EMERGENCY ROOM AGAIN. AND I CAN'T AFFORD IT. AND THEY WILL TRY ONCE AGAIN TO TAKE ME TO EMERGENCY SURGERY. WHICH I DON'T WANT. I CAN'T HANDLE THE PAIN ANY LONGER. I AM NOT A BAD PERSON. I AM A LOVING WIFE WHO CARES FOR HER DISABLED VETERAN, A LOVING MOTHER WHO DOES ANYTHING I CAN TO HELP MY CHILDREN. WHY ARE WE BEING PUNISHED! WISH ME LUCK.

Marianne, the reality is that chronic pain patients become tolerate to their pain meds and stronger meds have to be given. After a certain point, higher meds can't be prescribed. Also no one knows the future. What is they get cancer and need the pain meds for the pain connected with that ?

Physical therapy will help keep all the body parts moving, will increase mobility to do activities and will help with decreasing the pain. If insurance doesn't pay for a treatment, there are other resources one can use if they can't afford the out of pocket expenses. There are state & county resources. If you have Medicare and are low income, you can get help paying your Medicare Premiums, co/pays & deductables through Medicare Savings Program. Chronic pain patients also have to adjust their life style in order to live with chronic pain.

Have you ever had nerve pain? 24 hours 7 days a week? Do you enjoy your life by laying on the couch with ice packs for YEARS? Do you enjoy thinking of taking your life because you just can't handle it any longer. The GUILT of the burden we put upon our families IF we are lucky enough to have that?

You have no idea what your talking about. At all. YOU are NOT a pain sufferer. Otherwise what you said, would not have been written. As a non pain patient. You don't belong on this site. You must be a Dr. work with the DEA, FDA?

WE are all aware of tolerance. No one asks for additional medications long term. Only when it is needed to get over the hump and it is normally for only a few days, then you go back to the suffering again.
