I'm gona lose my job bcause of this bs I can't do my job without my meds. What gets me sick is these lowlives have unlimited supply. Or the people on disability who sit home n get paid for itfree housing I'm sure their drs aren't denying them.

Dale, I wish I could tell you how to find a doctor that will prescribe what you really need. It sounds like what you need is 15 or 30mg roxicodone. What you're taking has most likely 325mg of acetaminophen (tylenol). It will tax your liver taking 4-6 at a time. In fact taking what you are you are you're likely to od on acetaminophen before you od on the narcotic. This is done on purpose to discorage people from taking more than the prescribed dosage. I think it's wrong for the drug companies to be forced to add ingredients that can do more harm than good as a form of control, but that's the way it is so please be careful. Make sure your doctors are doing bloodwork periodically to check your liver enzymes. If they are elevated that can be an indication your liver is struggling. As a major organ you need to be careful with your liver. Also, you should cut out all alcohol while you're taking meds with acetaminophen. Good Luck.

yOU CAN GET DISABILITY IN ANY STATE, i GOT MINE ON THE FIRST TRY DUE TO THE FACT i HAVE A FORM OF MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY THAT IS DEGENERATIVE, AND HAVE SOME PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS AS WELL, BUT IF YIU WERE TURNED AWAY FROM DISABILITY, GET YOURSELF A DISABILITY ADVOCATE, IT MAY TAKE UP TO 2 OR 3 YEARS, BUT YOU WILL GET A RETRO ACTIVE PAY THAT WILL GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO WHEN YOU FIRST APPLIED, MY WIFE WAS AWARDED OVER & $7K FROM ALL THE BACK MONTHS SSDI DIDN'T PAY FOR AS 4 A PM DOCTOR, TRY GOOGLING PAIN MANAGEMENT IF THEY ARE NOT IN YOUR STATE THEY CAN DIRECT YOU TO OTHERS IN YOUR OWN STATE. THEY WILL TRY AND HELP YOU FIND SOMEONE YOU REALLY NEED...GOOD LUCK!!

the only thing you need to di is go to your nearset s s office, Thats what i did, might ake time, it always does, But yiu get back pay frim the day that you applied. Good luck to everyone

A lot of people try to help others here. I have given 2 people a very good name of an online pharmacy here in the states. They are great! Most everyone on this site are very caring and know what the other is going through. Of course their are exceptions, like in your case. I hope you are doing well, maybe that's why your not too nice.

Wow. I am not sure why people are getting to upset about little things. We are only here to try and find out information that might.... just might help us along our path. If it's just one small idea or thought that another has that could lead us in a different direction, then it was worth our time. Please don't use the site if only to bad mouth others. Why does that always seem to happen? I always say.... just let them be right! I could care less if I am wrong all of the time, just as long as I am not in pain. Anyone who understands pain knows what one more morning feels like. Having to face the day - knowing that it will be like climbing a mountain. Except mountain climbers get a thrill at the top. Chronic pain just says - climb again. I still am at wits end trying to figure out why .... if someone has legitimate medical records and has a history of taking their medication without any troubles, WHY does anyone care? If the medication allows people to have a tolerable life - then so be it! I am not sure why some people have bigger hats than others... if you get my drift? We all put our pants on the same in the morning.... EXCEPT people with pain are still putting the pants on while others are already at their destination. I know that sounds a little silly, but live just ONE day - Heck, make it a week, in the day of someone with chronic intolerable pain and tell me then - how it feels. I had to vent!

Use to do the Mexican thing 15yrs ago and things were changing back then. I lived in Leon Guat. and had a great source. Any suggestions. Tiq. or other border or do you have to go down to the interior

I'm in the same place you are and had a doctor for 10yrs. prescribe pain meds least amount and never change or adjusted. I Way afraid to ask for more until I could not walk, stand or sit with severe pain.now she says I must see a pain specialist. I am on disability with chp for payment of doctors and meds. I had severe injuries and confined to a wheelchair for a year. We worked with pain meds and physical therapy also thoracic epidurals 12 series until they were afraid for my spinal cord and liable if they paralyzed me.after many other opinions long lasting pain meds and another fast acting for break-thru pain. I ask now will I be with living 24x7 in pain. My life with be no more I'll I ask is to enjoy my grandchildren and to be able to plant my flowers.I'm on disability and have medicare too. I pray for a doctor that listens to the lord and is not afraid because I'm 52 and very responsible with my meds.I've learned to tolerate some pain until it gets up to a 10 and that is to the point when I suffer. bless you

Here Here, William...nicely said. It is appalling here in Ohio where my regular doctor was fairly liberal with her pain med distribution until last July when laws were passed as a way to cut down on overdoses due to oxy medications. They don't really like it, but on the other hand it is political suicide for them not to support a bill that is meant to save lives for those two weak, selfish or just plain dumb and take to much that they kill themselves. None of which took the meds as doctors ordered them instead for recreational use mostly. Ohio has one of the highest mortality rates from those who die from overdose. ....Now my doctor has sent a letter to all her patients that she has to be mindful of how she is prescribing and is looking to take her fibromyalgia patients off as much of their pain meds as she can by using "other" therapy. Hi, just read your post. Please don't take more pain pills than your doctor prescribed you to take. I am on norco as well. The reason they are not working well for you anymore, is because you have built up a tollerence. In other words your addicted to them. I have cronic back pain, the sugeron says it's too soon for surgery. So I take norco 1-3 times a day AS NEEDED and he gave me valium for the muscle spasms. Don't worry so much about the acetaminophen, the norco contains the least amount. The bad thing is you could stop breathing if you take too many. Please let me know how your doing. I can honestly say I do feel your pain. Every day of my life for the past 7 years.
Keep in touch, if their was a way to talk in private, I could let you borrow a few of mine untill you get yours, your lucky you get 90. That's for a 3 month supply? I know, I ask a lot of questions.

90 for a moth? wow! You need to talk to your doctor about switching your pain meds. Shame on your doctor!

Something is wrong, that was a mistake. You can fill your prescription without a problem. Their are many, many great doctors. The first doctor I sent to, did blood work, and had me get an MRI to see what my back problem is. He put me on pain med's the first visit. Doctors know when you are really having pain, andthey are there to help . I am sorry your having such problems. Hope all goes well

I am disgusted at this behavior, but I cannot blame the doctors. The pressure is coming from enforcement agencies that are not doctors and have no medical training in their ongoing harassment of chronic pain patients and their doctors. The doctors dont want to be mean, they have no choice. I am fortunate that I can choose not to play this game by going to another country to obtain my pain meds. I declare every pill for personal and medical use only and have not had any major problems with customs. We all need to pray for one another.

This thread is insightful and I feel privileged to be a part of it.
It makes me wonder though did the Original Poster (OP) ever find his vicodin 3 years ago...LOL.
God bless you all strugling with chronic pain. Pray for healing continuously, pray for others on the board, Pray for those that abuse opiates to realize before it is too late. Pray for those that need opiates while they make changes in their life syile that might help them. Pray for those who were victims of misfortune and in the wrong place at the wrong time. Pray for those who have it worse for you.
Show gratitude for the days where there is less pain. Show gratitude to the doctors who help you and have to listen to complaints all of the time, and tell them how much you appreciate them.
Pray that the government does not get free and unrestricted Access to your private medical records. With a public health system run by government you have no privacy and they can decide you are an abuser because of a few mistakes or poor references. Know that because of HIPPA, everything you tell one doctor is shared with all doctors. Order your medical records to see whats being shared. I know many of you a far worse off than me to no fault of your own and I pray for you. Dont leave any of us out of your prayers. Cherish the rare momments of laughter and joy. Praise those that assist you and compliment them rather tan venting at them. We need these people on our side. Above all else express compassion even for the misguided youth who are willing to throw their lives away for a cheap thrill. Pray that they will decide against it. Every one of their deaths affects us all.
