Hey Keelo! I tried the website you spoke of just a moment ago, and I can't access an actual site. There are bogus links that keep telling me I don't have access. Could the address be just a little different? Please let me know. Thanks!

We just need to raise hell with the Gov. They do not have the right to interfere in our lives in these areas. The gov. has created a problem where there was none
{just as they have done so many times in the past]
How much do we have to put up with? In Canada u need no script for codine. Are we different or just have
less freecom to make our on choices?

Hi all! Given the amount of messages here, I believe that pain is being under-treated in America. I have been dealing with a ruptured disk (l5-s1) for quite a while, and am in the same boat as many of you. Tired of fighting the system, but need relief to function. Need to find a Doc in the Minneapolis, St. Paul MN area to get some relief. If someone can help, please let me know! Thanks!

Hey, I don't live in Minnesota but a service I use and is excellent has a doctor in West Saint Paul. As long as you have documentation justifying the need for pain meds and are so helpful I've used them over the last few years. Do a search on the Internet for E Cinic MD. You just have to upload of fax your records to them and you can get appointments really quick. They don't take insurance but it is relatively inexpensive. Hope this helps and good luck.

Sad part about it is the government is going to get more intrusive into our lives and health care. The insurance companies and drug companies lobby big time to politicians. I have been taking a compounded 20/80 for nearly a decade now because my doctor does not like the acetaminophen or poison that I am taking with the 10/650, 10/500 or even 10/325 hydrocodone. The reason you can only take QID or four a day is not because of the pain medicine it is because of the Tylenol, they even lowered the daily amount you can take within the last few years which is why the 10/325 are being perscribed more now a days. Since the DEA and feds are watching doctors who perscribe oxyxotin, morphine and diladid my Dr. feels better writing the hydros but knows that 40 mg a day is not helping so if I have them compounded to 20/80, 20 mg of hydrocodone and 80 mg of acetaminophen I can take up to 12 a day. I can take more pain meds and not be under the watchful eye of the feds by taking oxycotin or morphine and saving my liver by not bombarding it with Tylenol. But my insurance will not cover a compound, they will cover a 10/650 even though it is destroying my liver but not a compounded 20/80 that is much safer for my liver, makes no sense. If it is the same ingredients but in different doses then they should be covered, I have went round and round with my insurance company, went all the way to the top and finally got someone to tell me the truth, of course it was off the record. The drug companies do not make as much off the compounded medication, they make it off the pills so the work with the insurance companies on what they will and will not cover, it all comes down to money not the safety of the patient. The government wants to be in control of our lives, they like the methadone programs, the patients are hooked and they control how much you get, when you get it and they make all the profits from the drug addicts. Oh, and wait until Obamacare kicks in, they will have even more control over you, the government wants to control what you eat, drink, say, think, what doctors you can see, what drugs you can take and it's not just Obama, every president from now on will have that power. This is a government run program and we all know the government does not give up any power once they get it.

I was only given dividing for years. The best way to make them keep working is to stop for 1-2 weeks in a month, that way you could possibly bring down your tolerance. I 've given the info for a legitimate Pm but they only prescribe up to 10 /325 oxycodone or 10/325 hydrocodone aka vicodin. The downside is that that the Percocet and Vicodin are for short term pain and use, the body becomes tolerant and its efficiency becomes less and less. It sucks because that's when you need a doc who REALLY understands how pain meds work. the Dr s at Eclinc md understand that but because of being harassed by DEA and such they only will prescribe certain things. They are not a pill mill and they need your mri ct scans but there is Not 24.95 membership fee. I apologize if I keep repeating the same thing I anm just trying to reply so people in pain can get some help. I have taken Vicodin and Percocet 10/325 for 6 yrs. thank God . am now on MSCONTIN it's time releases it works and I don't run out because I don't have to take more to get relief. I have the option of taking Victorian 5/500 every 6 hrs for breakthrough pain. The only time I have to take the BREAKTHROUGH Vicodin is for menstrual cramps. It took awhile to get where I'm at , so don't give up and my best wishes to all who are in true pain I pray you find relief

Hi, that was so kind of you to take the time to explain things to those in pain. I have 4 herniated discs in my neck plus arthritis (brought on by a horrible car accident). I also have 2 herniated discs in my back. I finally didn't know what else to do so I got what's called an "epidural corisone shot" -- doc wouldn't do both at once. Neck first, then wait 2 weeks, then back. I'm FINALLY starting to feel ok. He warned that it may not last. Some people need shots every 8 months. Some people never need a shot again. But it sure is cheaper than seeing an out of network chiropractor 3x/week and paying $75 out of pocket / visit. I had to find a better way. The shots are covered by insurance and all I do is pay a copay for the dr visit. Hope that helps!
