Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication (Page 149)
UpdatedCan you tell me about any doctors who can prescribe Vicodin
Chris first of all I LOVE YOU and don't let go please. They are holding up on my posts and have not heard from Dr. J. on private email so don't worry if anything it is you and me. I did not get paid again today but am doing my Appeal on WC as we speak I won as you know but they are holding off as long as they can. I am only doing two physicians at a time and am far too low on medication but had to decide today if I do appeal and enter early (pleading death imminent and financial demise) the WC literally put two private investigators into the security apartments I live in and moved them out the day the D.C. found IN MY FAVOR. Now due to them not paying mileage for 16 years which is why I had to attempt the DON job in 2013 getting terminated due to my severe disability a month later (but plenty of money for jets to California) hold the WC employer liable for the SSA situation for literally they are.
The local SSA person was out to kill. She was an idiot normally any activity on me is done in the Philadelphia hub and the guy there stated he did not receive documents (wrong for I filed a complaint on him so he wanted just the proof not turn in the complaint) so he asked me to go to the local SSA figured they'd scan JUST the documents and he would continue my SSDI. Well the c*** who handled me literally got her boss and said "I need to steal her claim I cannot do it." Yes this is ILLEGAL yes this is fraud for what she did was put $7,000 on a SGA month which was housing for my Hilton extended stay for the gig was 700 miles from where I resided. I had proof of this corporate office was in Atlanta, GA and my travel liason was emailing me so I showed the reservation, which Hilton, and the weekly amount. No one in all the years I've been SSDI has ever asked for proof not a one. They can tell so this is amazing. I ended up over here in butt hole Texas (eastern on border of LA) because I again accepted a prison DON when contractors changed and I was going to revamp nursing for them for over 7,000 federal prisoners. Again HOUSING it was over 600 miles from where I stayed in Texas. So those idiots could not get me through federal clearance meaning they reported money for my corporate rental, (housing which you can deduct) and I had a termination letter stating "we could not get you through federal clearance" and I've had federal clearance BEFORE SSDI people. Write this down for no longer are your SSA records secure; since ODUMMA every poop out of your rectum is on file for anyone to view.
The guy in Philadlephia ZEROED the prison gig he knew if you could not get clearance or a blue badge under BOP then that money is not income it's gift. Well guess what I also was disabled before 1999 when Ticket to Work came into effect therefore, there is a regulation that protects folks disabled before changes from taking actions others do. But I want to take my claim over to Louisiana which you can; interesting LA is one state of 6 that does not do reconsiderations which is GREAT for you do not want a wonker from your DUMB office who denies a claim almost 20 years old that is a party worse not better having his buddy at the next desk doing the same.
There has to be one hospital in your area and you might need to do homework that will take you through the ER and admit you. Find a few pain specialists you would like (but cannot get), and get the damn ER to admit you due to everything; low potassium, dehydration, extreme pain and so forth. Then that physician (if they have privileges) can be called in the key at this point is admitting you. There has to be one or two hospitals as I have my list in Texas but sounds like you are worse then me that will prescribe a month of medications which for you or I right now is NOT enough you need to be admitted (and not with a treatment program to detox but to stabilize heart, kidneys and pain), and then the admitting physician (most have two or three hospitalists who admit from the ER) can then get a consult while you are in the hospital and then maybe we can get you a doctor that way.
I don't want that for you I swear you are a sister already I feel this way BUT we can do this. I have my fiance on phone 24 / 7 he is also American but living in Australia and keeps his American number and I will as I write my legal briefs go over with him what I'm writing. This is all conjecture and rat fecal product for me; I won the damn thing hate having to do this Appeal now but if it will potentially get me ALL MILEAGE, and cause them to be liable for the OVERPAYMENT and pay my SSDI and Medicare till this gets straight then so be it. Some people on here have no clue you know?
WC differs in every state different rules and yes if you are blessed with a 100% medical award then your award pays medications, and all medical FIRST as primary am so sick of a certain person thinking he or she can judge others, and say nothing to support or help the same. A real addict perhaps yes?
my name is lonette and I'm looking for a psychiatrist that will prescribe Valium and Ambien in st. charles & st. louis mo....
Lonette since most of us are valid pain patients, and yes some also psychiatric, what disorders are you seeking the medication for? Valium is a smooth muscle relaxer, and Ambien for sleep. Essentially snowballing both will put you 20 feet under in a blizzard butt naked and you would not know a thing.
SSI is funded from the General Fund Not the Trust Fund. Drs that treat Medicare Patients are Not being paid to not prescribe pain meds or stop treatment of chronic illnesses, CMS (Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services) does have a Overutilization.Policy regarding Opiates for chronic pain that is not related to a terminal illness. They identify beneficiaries that may have an abuse or overuse of opiates. They also identify prescribers that they believe prescribe in an abusive manner and CMS can revoke the prescribers Medicare enrollment. They can also do the same with pharmacys.
TO ALL REGARDING MY POSTS just because someone writes on a blackboard 1 and 1 is 2 does not mean that someone doing the math wrong makes 1 and 1 equal 3.
Unfortunately the federal government more than any agency (and I am a regulatory expert who does shut downs of nursing homes and deficient hospitals as a consultant), will say this "fund" is for this "purpose" but the SSA fund has been robbed, raped, and pillaged by various leadership individuals and their economic teams to fund other areas time and time again.
Those who have like me paid in their money to SSA are facing shortages due to exactly what I state SSI as a program was initially devised by Democrats (for votes mind you) with no access funding so it was "borrowed" from our trust fund and never repaid. I do not make such statements without the inside knowledge of what I speak.
Anyone here who has a question or if they don't understand medical terms I sometimes speak just ask. It is one of the side effects of being in the health care business for so many years. Thanks.
You need to get sober. That's what you need to do. I find the amount of meds people are taking crazy. My wife is 39 years dying of bone cancer and she takes two 8 mg of did.
I am very sorry about your wife. I have been through thyroid cancer now that it is gone the amount of calcium it has left throughout my body, my ribs, my back and even my head is debilitating. The only choice I have is to use pain medicines. My ankles fracture when I walk on the due to no elasticity in my tendons. I went through over 14 lithotripsy's. With doctors sticking stents in my kidneys afterwards. Cancer is horrible but for people to judge and deprive you of pain medicine like most doctors do is still a death sentence!
Hi Ryan I am sorry to hear about your wife. Understandably and I am a professional nurse over time people with chronic pain need upward titration of opioids in order their physical tolerance is adjusted.
One disorder RSD is researched on the McGill Pain scale as 88 x the pain of end stage terminal cancer.
Many people do not understand that pain patients often are forced to live for 10, 20, 30 or life with this horrific pain. If 8 mg. Dilaudid worked for your wife that is great, if not she too needed titration.
Instead of attempting to hurt others I suggest you kindly request support.
Sexey and Ryan I see you post to this forum through a mobile phone.
Question do you download an application for this?
I was seeing a doctor for 10 years i missed 2 apontments.he wont see me know.i have a very bad back.balging disks.deteranting bones ext.i was on morphin, hydrocodons.i have been trying and trying to get a doctor but when they hind out i am on these med they wont see me! i am in great pain.i cant sleep becauce of pain i cant even do daily things!
Ruth good luck with that you should not miss appointments at all.
The FDA has passed a rule of 120 mg. morphine equivalent and to be receiving normal medications on that level was "luck" for all these pain specialists are cutting patients back. You need to tell us your area, maybe someone knows of another physician but missing appointments now is not even an option.
There are some people like me without a physician who can die from rare intractable pain. I have over 400 disorders and am an ultra rapid opioid metabolizer. I am busy dealing with legal briefs but put your area down and maybe someone can help you, but with you just being a no show a new physician may not want to take you.
Peace out.
P450,
I was reading your post to Ruth. I am very sorry to hear you have so many disorders. I have never met anyone who is suffering to that level. Would you mind sharing what those 400 disorders are? How are you able to live or even function with that many disorders? You've mentioned in several posts that you are a nurse and that you are currently working on a legal brief, Kudos to you for being able to do anything. I've been disabled since 2000 and only have six current disorders and most days it's all I can do to function at all.
I was on morphin 30mgs 2 times daily.the frist appt i miss the day before i just had mager sugery.the next one my husband of 35 years lift me!
If.you call at least 24.hours Before your appointment and let them know you can't make it and it rarely happens, they are usually ok with you rescheduling. But if you don't call at least 24 hours before or it happens close together, they will discharge you. Your pain contract more than likely had your drs rules about what to do if.you couldn't make an appointment. Some drs offices will charge you if you miss and appointment too.
Ruth,
Clearly then you need to call his office and he can so confirm.
I am sorry to hear you suffered with those viable excuses.
Any physician who did discharge for those reasons is attempting to adhere to the new FDA suggested morphine level.
Good luck my dear. I see you have not given us your area.
I just moved to the memphis area have had 19 operations 4 being back, need 2 more on the spine. I am almost out of my pain meds any suggestions
I'm looking for help finding a Dr. Near the Southside of Grand Rapids Michigan to take over treat my degenerative disk disease L4,L5, S1 w/cracks in my facet joins I do not have insurance so expensive pain management places and expensive meds are out . Was managing pain with Percocet or Norco before my dr was forced to retire due to his health.
Shelby L. Have you looked for sliding scale or free clinics in your area?
Shelby,
Your GP should be able to take over your care with those medications.
Make an appointment and it will be easy enough for him to handle those medications, am sure he has your records, and refer you out or handle those medications in your state in particular.
Peace out.
Me,
Tennessee, Alabama, and West Virginia have many pain specialists.
Why would you wait until you are out to seek help. I suggest a general search for pain specialists. You will find quite a few in your state.
Peace out.
