Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 3)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

Everyone is looking for Dr. P's number or address. I think everyone is afraid they will be takeb off. I too have searched a year for his number. I know he takes insurance. I wish someone would be kind enough to let some others know his where abouts or his telephone number. All of us are in need of getting our lives together. So please...E-Mail or Post...THANKS!

I need to find a doc that wrights for methadone in or around warren mi I lost my incerance and my pain doctor wants $159 per visit. Or if neone knows of an online pharmacy (or person)I can order off of. thank u

I have been in methadone clinics for over 25 yrs. I know most of the in's and out's. I hate the clinics with all the rules that have to be done and all the nonsense that goes on in there. I currently go to a doctor's office for my methadone. He prescribes it for pain and addiction, just different rules for each. I am here to help if anyone has questions that I may be able to answer. Yes, pls help. I live in battle creek and am desparate to find a dr. I had neck surgery which did not work, am I constant pain. Pls let me know the best way to bring up the subj, etc. Thank u!

I live in upper Michigan (sault ste. Marie), I do NOT have insurance, i AM prescribed low level medication (Tramadol) for pain, however, am seriously interested in finding the closest doctor to upper Michigan (yet one that genuinely cares about his patients), that only prescribes or also prescribes methadone for addiction. As long as paying cash for a doctor visit, a script, etc... isn't an outrageous amount, I am willing to travel to wherever (the closer to northern mi., the better / easier). This is my first time ever inquiring about something like this, and have NO clue at all where to start. Name and / or phone number to doctors office, city etc... and ANY other info would help and be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Good luck with that...I live in Greensboro and the only Dr I could find who would give me anything even REMOTELY strong enough for my pain is Dr Hooper,I get 120 norco 10/325 , 90 soma , and30 1mg xanax, but i have no ins... so i self pay $91.00 monthly....but if you do plz let me know

Metro East has a couple of locations in Detroit. They are on Harper that one is closest to the East side. They work on a sliding scale or if you live it Detroit you can go thru a program that is free. Premier on Van Dyke in Warren 586-758-6670. Haven't been there in years. There are plenty more.

when calling to make an appointment....do i say i need methadone treatment? or do i say something else, bc i don't like to get real personal with the receptionist lol, because alot of them have turned me down simply because i need help with addiction and they say no we can't help. When i do that some doctors would help me if i could only get in to see them and talk to them...I called dr. barber and hung up bc i didn't know what to say i needed to be seen for. And, does he accept medicaid? I need to find a doctor in michigan that will offer methadone or suboxin treatment...who also accepts medicaid. I'm running out of options...

I go to the clinic in Mt.Pleasant,MI and as far as i knw that is the furthest clinic north. They prescribe methadone and suboxin but you have to have an opia te addiction thats bad enuf to require that kind of strong medication. you dont want to take methadone if you havnt been on strong opiates such as morphine or oxycontin or even very large amounts of vicodin will get u into the clinic.
