Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Ohio (Page 3)

Does anyone know of a good PCP in the Columbus Ohio area willing to prescribe Norcos for pain of the middle to lower back? Please let me know as I am in a bit of pain and just moved to the area. Thanks.

If you go to any Dr. And suggest that they give you 150mgs of Oxycodone on your first visit...you will more than likely be asked to leave.. True pain patients go in and tell the Dr. Whom they saw before, what your issues are, and that your miserable and just need help BADLY...Believe me...I'm a Certified Addiction Specialist In Chattanooga Tenn., specializing in Opioid Dependence and Addiction. In also a Bail/Fugitive Recovery agent, so just be careful. ALOT of these worthless ass Pain Docs that don't take Insurance, just cash are ALL quacks...and have made it hard for the rest of the true pain patients..I go to Pain Management, and switched from Duragesic to Methadone, and believe me, it works ALOT better than Oxycodone
.ALOT better..it hits all the receptor sites across the board...and really helps with pain...

Have you tried stronger strains of medical Marijuana the black market stuff is fine with experienced person I'm off pain meds and function better

Dr. Gordan Korby is a quack. Do not go to see this man! Went to him for low back and hip pain after being hit by car. Have a bi-level fusion S1-L4 x2. He prescribed OxyContin 80s. After several months of babbling to myself, falling asleep mid sentence and losing 40 lbs, my wife and I went to see him about taking me off the Oxy. He became abusive and insulting to both my wife and me. Finally said f*** you both and kicked us out of office. On the way out I grabbed my chart and threw it against wall. At that point he attacked me, had me against the wall with his hands around my throat. This guy is no doctor you want to see.

Hey...I know they work well initially, because I'd gotten them in my knees..and one reason my doctors were working so well was he was putting Xylocaine in with the steroids. But steroids break up the meniscus between the disks..and you DO NOT WANT THAT!!!

Dude! No wonder doctors won't prescribe you pain meds on any level. I want you to be pain free, but any angry outburst or fit not having them, WILL NOT get you pain meds. The doctor (s) will see it as addiction. Im just keeping it real dude. Good luck. I believe you're in pain but asking for strong meds like that will raise eyebrows. Try Roxi 5mg, or 10's
They are probably the safest and are liver friendly.

Ubevb been dealing with several amounts of pain over the last 15 years and I've had my spleen removed a very safe vacation I think shingles I have slipped disc damage nerves bone spurs arthritis in my back I have arthritis in my right knee I have arthritis in her arm and I have five metal plates

I totally agree so insanely unfair. I have secretly prayed that some of my docs would slip and fall , or develop the same ailments I have so they can experience what it's like to walk in my shoes! Major pain, every day! And

As much as I understand you don't want to believe it, Korby did something horrible to me in March of 2013. I felt so dirty afterwards, and it happened so fast and so casually that I truly didn't see it coming. So before you judge and assume this female only wanted meds and didn't get any, from my experience that was not the case :( I am a law-abiding person that just simply needs pain relief from debilitating degenerative disc disease, RA, and facet joint disease. He was giving me ample meds, which I think he either thought meant he could do other things as well, or he was undergoing something that deeply fogged his ability to make soundmind decisions. I didn't ask for that to happen to me, and I feel sorry for this woman as I know how I felt. The fact that "she" is now being called a liar on this thread confirms that I did the right thing by not coming forward. I just wonder how many others are out there. I never filed any type of complaint because I thought it was an isolated incident. Not to mention, I feared never being able to get into another PM. I figured if my name was plastered all over the medical board's website for this type of complaint, that other PM's would be fearful to treat me. Here I am making excuses for him and for myself, but at the end of the day, it happened to me too and that's all I can say about that.... I did end up finding another PM, thank the Great Lord above, but it was no easy task and is still a struggle since they all seem to want to lower the only med that seems to give me any type of relief.
