Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Louisiana (Page 11)
UpdatedI need to find a Dr. To write a Rx. For hydrocodin for chronic back pain, where can I find one in Southern Louisiana?
I need a Dr in Louisiana that prescribes fentanyl and roxicodone. I have Medicaid insurance and need help.
Manx, Louisiana Medicaid will not pay for a Pain Management Doctor.
bet any money he isn't writing pain meds anymore, nice guys finish last!
that was back in 2014, Please don't fall for these people cos if its a pcp doctor then he won't be writing any pain meds cos anymore you have to go to Pain Management.
even the office i go to, they used to write pain meds but they posted a message telling everybody we will refer you to a pain management clinic cos we are no longer prescribing anymore Pain Meds cos of the new REGULATION BEING MANDATED BY THE DEA AND FDA.
So don't ask anybody where you can find a doctor to write out pain meds cos they don't anymore or if they do its only a matter of time till they tell you that you will have to go to PM!
GOOD LUCK!
is he the Doctor that Michael Jackson had?
real professional, they use the F-word!
Bet he isn't a Doctor anymore if he is probably isn't able to write a script for Extra Strength Tylenol... :-(
VA willing to place their long term cronic patients out to pasture because the CDC threaten to take their license to pratice if they continue to treat the patients with opiods are every other options failed to give relief of pain. The Vietnamese couldn't kill, but our own country will.
Sad world we live in when we quit helping our VETERANS! :-(
I totally agree P450 Metabolizer!
I can't believe these people get on here and say they know these doctor's that will write scripts for pain. And people still posting and asking about them post and some are several years old and chances are they are not writing out pain scripts anymore cos they probably lost there license or not able to write any pain meds.. I know people are hurting and are desperate and I understand. But some also are looking for a high, but I am not judging anybody. I am just saying do your own homework find your own doctor. I mean its ok to get an opinion but as far as finding a pcp doctor to fill Pain Meds will not happen, they are far and in between anymore cos my doctor told me they are cracking down on that and he has to send everybody that needs pain medication to Pain Management and all the doctors he knows they have to do that also, so doctor shopping is a thing of the past so anybody that used to do that well your time is running out cos its a matter of time when everybody will have to go to PM! So please quit listening to *****s that say go to this doctor go to that doctor cos no doctor is giving out pain meds anymore! Good Luck and God Speed!
Louisiana Medicadi has new limits on how many doses of a Schedule II pain med they will pay for. It went into effect Jan 10, 2017.
Well as many people as there are asking for pain meds in that state we will see how long that lasts. I would love to know how many really need the meds or how many are getting it to feel high off of. Once again i am not judging i just wonder what the percentage are of how many people that really need pain medication? That is why there are so many laws and why people that really need it like myself wind up the ones that suffer cos of people that don't need it play with the laws and mess it up for everybody else! :-( If you don't need it, STOP IT! And get some help so people like me that do need it won't suffer.
DAVID, the laws have not changed when it comes to doctors losing their license. When a doctor prescribes inappropiately, their license may or may noy be suspended. But, it takes much, much more than people thinks for a doctor to have their license suspended, let alone for them to lose their license permanently.
Did you ever find anyone in Monroe?? I am also looking for someone to help my fiance. He was in a bad wreck 2 years ago and has since rebroken his ankle. The talus is broken into 3 pieces and has avascular necrosis. He also has a broken back in 2 places.
Looking for pm dr in Lafayette that will give meds?
I called tha number you had given ninth ward rapper and they said that wasn't his office
I'm looking for a walk-in dr who takes cash and who will write for pain. I take opana and fentanyl in Louisiana.
Bobo, the FDA has requested Opana ER be taken off the market.
Do you have copies of your medical records from your previous doctor ? Or will you give a new doctor the info to contact him and get them ?
What exactly do you mean by walkin ? If you have been prescribed these drugs by another doctor, a new doctor can look up your profile on the Louisiana Prescription Monitoring Program and see when you were prescribed them, the doctor that prescribed them, etc.
I just moved from Alabama to Lake Charles, Louisiana and need a doctor that will continue to prescribe Opana. I have been on pain management for almost 2 years after an accident causing chronic pain.
I know this message was posted in 2014, but does this doctor still prescribe pain meds? I have severe chronic pain. Thank You
Sorry cat, but I very much doubt that they are still writing pain medications... Your best bet is to go to your regular doctor and have him give you a referral to pain management cos very few if any md doctors are writing scripts for pain meds anymore.. Where I go they put up a notice late last year telling their patients that they would have to go to pain management cos that practice was no longer writing pain medication prescription... So all you are doing is wasting your time asking for someone to send you to a doctor that doesn't exist anymore... I just wanted to let you know I would be very surprise if you find a doctor to write you a script for pain meds.. My doctor I see told me all the doctor's he knows don't do that anymore they send there patients to pm.. Sorry cat, I wish you luck and hope you find someone soon.. I hope you don't take that the wrong way cos I didn't mean any of that to be smart I was just telling you it is very hard to find pcp that will write a script for pain meds.. Take care and good luck!
Did you find a doctor? I need a pain management around Lake Charles that prescribes Opana. I have medical records, MRIs and referrals
Your best bet is to find the doctor yourself cos nobody can find you a doctor. I don't mean to sound cold, but google doctors in that area. My doctor referred me to a PM. It's best to get a referral from your PCP. I wish you the best of luck!
