Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Las Vegas Nv (Page 6)

I have mouth cancer that is very painfull and have been taking opioids/pain meds for many years. My tolerance is extremely high, so to have the meds actually work on the pain i'm needing a lot more than most. Just a guide of what i thank would help me and my history with pain meds: About 360 roxys 30mg, 180-240 lortabs 10mg, 90 morphine er mg, 150 xanax 2mgs, and 180 somas, which is not a lot to me. Is there any Dr. in las vegas, NV willing to write like this any more? #CANCER PAIN IN VEGAS

Cindy - I feel for you and am in same area and the same problems. Surgery is not an option for me, I need to find a PMD in Las Vegas or surrounding areas, has anyone on this site ever given you a name ?? The last 2 referrals I got, when I check out patient reviews, are awful - one may give a small prescription and then he actually MAKES people sign a contract saying they will never come back looking for meds. I would have told him to shove the contract. The problem I believe is that most if not all PMDs are anesthesiologists - who make $ doing steroid and facet injections. When meds are the only option, they only get paid for an office visit - not even close to surgical center injections. I am not opposed to injections, but the relief is of limited duration and I still need medication. HAVE YOU HAD ANYONE GIVE YOU A NAME IN LV AND HAVE YOU GONE OR FOUND SOMEONE YOU CAN REFER ??

LAS VEGAS CHRONIC PAIN SUFFERER SEEKING A NEW PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC THAT PRESCRIBES MY PAIN MEDICINE AND USES OTHER WAYS OF PAIN MANAGEMENT SUCH AS DEPOMEDROL INJECTIONS AND ONE WHO WILL REALLY TREAT THE BLOWN DISCS IN MY LUMBAR AND CERVICAL REGIONS. I moved here from Ohio almost two years ago and have found the medical care here in Las Vegas underwhelming and humiliating. Initially a PA who in his head was a pain doctor was prescribing my pain meds. Meeting him was accidental when I was trying to get the extra script my pain doctor from Ohio sent with me to give me time to find a doctor. He treated me for almost a year and then I think his Pain Doctor Specialty , all in his head, ended up being moved and having his hands somewhat tied due to the amount of "pain patients" he had. Remember this guy was just a PA. I was shocked PA's could write narcotic scripts b/c they can not do so in Ohio. He referred me to a pain clinic at that time which I am still going too however they are disgusting in the manner they treat patients, how they speak to patients, they lie so badly I began recording my appointments. So I advise staying away from Innovative Pain Care Institute; esp. PA Pam Albo. I am at this time researching for a new pain care doctor. I take Percocet and now Morphine also and was put on Soma about 4 months ago and was so happy that after 15 years something took the burn out of my muscles...and now despite going through the effort of getting a prior authorization for the Soma she has decided to lie to me once again and now will not write new scripts for it.

She had her mind made up before my last appointment because I could hear her and her medical assistance out in the hallway laughing about another patient who had requested Xanax and they were denying and then I hear her say and this one's not getting her Soma and they laugh again. I will be reporting them for HIPPA rights violation. The actual MD at the Cheyenne office who I only saw once at my first visit was horrible, literally calling me stupid multiple times for having not quit smoking cigarettes yet. They however will take that Medicare money not caring if you use medical cannabis. He also told me he didn't know why my lower back was so tender and problematic directly after reading my MRI results; showing blown discs in my lumbar and cervical regions. He also told me I didn't have fibromyalgia, which I have been treated for since 2003. I was surprised they kept me as a patient...must've been the money. So if anyone knows of a better pain management group please let me know. Pam Albo is disgusting in her lack of humanity as she deals with her patients. The first appt. I ever had with her she came in b****ing that her children wouldn't get to eat dinner on time...mind you I had been waiting for almost 3 hours to be seen and I arrived on time for my appt. This last appointment though, hearing them laugh about a medication that made a huge difference in my quality of life out in the hall where everyone could hear them made me sick and angry. Of course as we chronic pain sufferers know if we speak up to them they can cut us off without notice. One more year and I'm leaving this state as the medical care in general is horrible. My GI doctor, Dr. Singh who did my colonoscopy in November up and left the state without telling his patients!

Just so you know most drs here in Las Vegas won't write percocet anymore as its a big problem in Las Vegas. I know I was on it and my dr said sorry he can't write it anymore. I have been with him for 10 years. I really do like him but he is a pa which from reading some don't like having a pa. Steve olencheck (idk if that's the correct spelling) he is under a dr of course.

Looking for a pain back doctor that takes Health Plan Of Southern Nevada here in Las Vegas, Nevada or close around preferred for hubby...
Medicaid approved him and after he got his xrays they changed his insurance with out any of us knowing...

Now he can't go see Dr. Jario Rodriguez do to insurance change...

Any help would be soooo greatly preferred...

I am in severe pain from a back injury and when I arrived in Las Vegas from another state, they started playing games with my medication. Sometimes, I can get it and then I can't. I work and can work very well on medication, but now that I have been cut off again, I am going to have to shorten my hours and my get laid off. I am writing this in severe pain and was told I had to wait for 2 weeks to get my pain medication as well as a muscle relaxer. I think they are crazy here. Seriously! For a crooked, decadent, scum around the toilet city, I am surprised that the one thing they would fixate on is stopping medication for sick. Maybe they should stop plying drinks on the gamblers so they will give up their houses and life savings to the casinos.

Good luck there are crazy in this decadent, decayed crooked town. Every crime is allowed but if you are ill and in pain, no pain medicine for you.
