Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Las Vegas Nv (Page 11) (Top voted first)

I have mouth cancer that is very painfull and have been taking opioids/pain meds for many years. My tolerance is extremely high, so to have the meds actually work on the pain i'm needing a lot more than most. Just a guide of what i thank would help me and my history with pain meds: About 360 roxys 30mg, 180-240 lortabs 10mg, 90 morphine er mg, 150 xanax 2mgs, and 180 somas, which is not a lot to me. Is there any Dr. in las vegas, NV willing to write like this any more? #CANCER PAIN IN VEGAS

I had to quit my job it's tearing apart my body. Hands already now in lower neck purturding discs and in lower back spine degenerative disease. It's hard getting out of bed any help please

Hi, I'm 35 yrs old with severe chronic pain from a car crash when I was 19, along with degenerative disc disease. To top that off I also suffer from PTSD with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Yeah, I know, I'm in great shape right. Anyway, I just moved here to Las Vegas. Now I have been taking roxicodone, opana and xanax for the relief of my anxiety and severe chronic pain for over 13 years. I know how much harder it has become to be prescribed these medications over the past few years or even find a pharmacy that won't bs you and pretend they can't get them. I know there are restrictions but I used to work in 2 different pharmacies, so I know the majority of them are bs'ing us. This has happened thanks to all the a**holes who either get them just to feel high off them or to sell them on the street, not because they help with real conditions people like me have. Well I take them as prescribed, sometimes less a day if I truly don't need it. Finally to my question. Does anyone know of any good Drs or Pain Management Clinics here in Vegas who may actually do their job and help me with these medications? Also, do you know of any pharmacies that carry it? I wouldn't mind waiting a day or two. I appreciate any input, thank you.

unfortunately you're going to have to bite the bullet and detox for a little while you need to get youe tolerance down. LET ME SAY...I AM NOT A DOCTOR. Im just giving you some personal experience. Be careful.....quite frankly im surprised your Dr. is so generous.

I was also in the Army and was wounded many times breaking my back last round and took a round to the spine, now the VA must take care of all combatt related injuries and give you care, I have been in the VA system 30yrs and get great care and the VA is a leading center for pain managment they give me all the pain meds and others to help give me a quality of life I would not have otherwise, I cannot understand why you cant get care there and meds Please go back and make them honor their promise to care for you in this matter and how many you need is all dependent on the patient I have been takeing 800mg morphine a day with oxy,valium, and xanax is what most would think insane numbers but everyones pain responds different Best of luck!

I have been in near constant and increasing pain for over 12 yrs. now. 52% of my spine is now fused into one piece and nerve damage is substantial. I have gone from 30 mg of Oxycodone 4X day to 20 mg 3X day. Not bad for doing it by myself but can go no lower as they are going to have to cut me open again. My 13th procedure. Need help now as my last pain management physician just quit their practice. This will be my only post ... only one option left open to me. There will be no 13th procedure.
