Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Las Vegas Nv (Page 11)
UpdatedI have mouth cancer that is very painfull and have been taking opioids/pain meds for many years. My tolerance is extremely high, so to have the meds actually work on the pain i'm needing a lot more than most. Just a guide of what i thank would help me and my history with pain meds: About 360 roxys 30mg, 180-240 lortabs 10mg, 90 morphine er mg, 150 xanax 2mgs, and 180 somas, which is not a lot to me. Is there any Dr. in las vegas, NV willing to write like this any more? #CANCER PAIN IN VEGAS
This is ridiculous! Every post on this page is sickening! I am a legitimate pain patient. Too many skeletal, disk, muscle and tumor disease to list. I live daily life in pain. It's people who are on the Internet and support groups whose main concern is pain pills, rather than pain management and ability to live life in less pain. Not one legitimate educated doctor will tell someone who is in the condition most of the people on this page have claimed to be in that pain is not in their future. If you do indeed have that degree of pain and have lived with it to make you a chronic pain patient then you know that you learn to live with the pain. The pain can be treated but looking for a doctor to give you enough narcotics to knock out the pain screams ADDICT. Pain patients can absolutely be addicted, it's impossible to be on any chemical for that length of time and not have a physical dependence. But if you are truly a pain patient and not just doctor shopping then you need to deal with the emotional and mental side of living in constant pain or you're going to spend your life depressed and frustrated because you are not living with your pain but living in hopes of finding a doctor willing to kill off their patients searching for the easy way out. You were given the body you have and like everyone else on earth you can choose to work at being your best or you can be miserable.
If this offended any of you. ... good. Those of you posting names of doctors and other information trying to aid a human being to finding drugs.... that is your karma! You are responsible for what you put out in the world and how you effect others. . Now you've been told so no playing dumb when karma kicks in your door ... no feeling sorry for yourself, pick yourself up find the courage to be the best you can be. Treat the pain but don't expect that getting high is going to get you through life or build any character.
The injections this nazi doctor is talking about actually have a history of making things worse. I have been given the option to receive the injectionsame in my neck, I was willing to try anything to get me back to some type of life outside of bed and I had an immediate reaction, the swelling and pain only increased from that point on and it was during my 2 week check up that my doctor suggested I discontinue the injections. I am fortunate enough that my doctor is in the top 3 in his field of the United States. So if he is iffy on whether injections work then I am comfortable with my decision to stop the injections. Some people love them, some people suffer further. I would suggest that you ask your insurance company for the names of a pain management doctor or look at seeing a spinal/ bone disease specialist rather than an actual pain management physician. Because you are not living on narcotics and have an actual diagnosis and scans backing up your complaint you should have no problem finding a doctor willing to treat your pain and enter into a contract with you regarding your pain and use of narcotics.
I'm sorry to see an actual pain patient being treated like a drug seeker due to the people who have been drug seeking and doctor shopping. Legitimate pain patients forced to suffer because of the fear of the physician that they will be targeted and labeled a "writer" . Continue to be your advocate and look for support groups in your area that will be able to help. Going to a psychiatrist and having some therapy is also helpful in finding a doctor whose willing to treat legitimate patients. Unfortunately we have to work at proving we are in legitimate pain but finding a doctor who you trust and is compassionate is possible and you absolutely can find the right doctor for you.
where did you end up going in las vegas? and how much was the visit?
Reply to 186 ms anonymous Biggs,
That may be the biggest crock of s*** I have ever read. Let me guess, you probably have government assistance to pay for your doctors and drugs. Gimme a break, that kind of post disgusts me. Just proves why restrictions are in place to prevent people like you from killing themselves with narcotics. So disgusting....
Dr T is no afraid to prescribe Hydrocordone? Need 240 per month the Medical group here is pernod and regulate only 120 per month. Have been taking 240 a month for 16 years. Ugh.
Have you tried Kratom?
Google it.Its legal and it works.Very inexpensive
I had to quit my job it's tearing apart my body. Hands already now in lower neck purturding discs and in lower back spine degenerative disease. It's hard getting out of bed any help please
Hi, I'm 35 yrs old with severe chronic pain from a car crash when I was 19, along with degenerative disc disease. To top that off I also suffer from PTSD with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Yeah, I know, I'm in great shape right. Anyway, I just moved here to Las Vegas. Now I have been taking roxicodone, opana and xanax for the relief of my anxiety and severe chronic pain for over 13 years. I know how much harder it has become to be prescribed these medications over the past few years or even find a pharmacy that won't bs you and pretend they can't get them. I know there are restrictions but I used to work in 2 different pharmacies, so I know the majority of them are bs'ing us. This has happened thanks to all the a**holes who either get them just to feel high off them or to sell them on the street, not because they help with real conditions people like me have. Well I take them as prescribed, sometimes less a day if I truly don't need it. Finally to my question. Does anyone know of any good Drs or Pain Management Clinics here in Vegas who may actually do their job and help me with these medications? Also, do you know of any pharmacies that carry it? I wouldn't mind waiting a day or two. I appreciate any input, thank you.
Do you live in Las Vegas? I need help after ten years my dr retired and I can't find help I am going into withdrawal I have metal plates in back and hips nerve pain and I can't find help
unfortunately you're going to have to bite the bullet and detox for a little while you need to get youe tolerance down. LET ME SAY...I AM NOT A DOCTOR. Im just giving you some personal experience. Be careful.....quite frankly im surprised your Dr. is so generous.
Your doctor is an a**hole. No one in Vegas will prescribe that without thorough examination. I don't think ANY Dr is going to give you that much, cancer or not.

I was also in the Army and was wounded many times breaking my back last round and took a round to the spine, now the VA must take care of all combatt related injuries and give you care, I have been in the VA system 30yrs and get great care and the VA is a leading center for pain managment they give me all the pain meds and others to help give me a quality of life I would not have otherwise, I cannot understand why you cant get care there and meds Please go back and make them honor their promise to care for you in this matter and how many you need is all dependent on the patient I have been takeing 800mg morphine a day with oxy, valium, and xanax is what most would think insane numbers but everyones pain responds different Best of luck!
