Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 85)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

The new pharmacy was a joke people anyone can except your meds at the house no I.d was ask for just given my meds from a driver.Why is everyone flipping out ? Mac is thee only needing to be worried over what happens to SAS . I'm not saying you guys on here right now are seekers so stop .Again u hear what u want .Junkies left CPR to go to SAS free meds no 180 bill government pays only place that will write that much .I ment the junkies that followed after reading the post not the regular group. Even if Dea goes to investigate SAS worst that can happen is limit amount of narcotics they can write and send patients to pain management after 2-3 visit .They would have to comply because they receive state medicade money .

NOONE ON HERE ARE SEEKER BUT people do read the post and seek out the places to get pills that's what I'm talking about .I'm on medicade .

Mac we are all supporting you and try not to worry cause your pain will go through the roof. I will and am sure we will all pray that everything will go great for you and nothing bad happens. Stay positive please.

It's just hard to stay positive when I hear "SAS very well could be the last place you ever get your meds"..... That scares the hell out of me. I'm only 24. At best they are probably going to retire in like fifteen years, and things will probably only be more strict then.

I am still reading all this in amazement! MAC, I was in a similar situation as I explained and I have been fine! Plz don't worry! U legitimately have health problems that require these meds! Don't let anyone scare or worry u! Dr Smith and office will determine what is right for u ok??

Mac... I haven't caught up on reading but you've been on my mind. Please do not worry anymore! In order for you to truly be screwed, a lot of people would have to be against you... BUT... You have been absolutely honest with the Smiths... Stick with them and they will stand up for you. There is no need to think that you won't be given care. Get all your records from CPR... And then put all those worries to rest. Anyone saying that you're in trouble is speculating. The REALITY is that you've been honest and accepted. Have peace, ok? ??

OMGosh! Due to prior miscommunication between me and another contributor, I'm going to preface this post with a fact about me. I'm a very animated yet dry person, who believes in being candid above all else, and cordial unless given reason not to be. So please know that this is not an attack.

People, places, things...you know nouns get stereotyped with the same level of ease that I enjoy cake. (founding member of fat kid loving cake).

I hope we all want SAS to succeed in their mission. There are medical professionals out there that still hold the hypocratic oath closer to their heart than any other noun around. They seem to be the genuine article.

So, for the love of ham on Thursday Do. Not. Call. ANY clean clinic a pill mill! People read these threads, glean a bit of info and we're nonethewiser. I would bet money in Vegas that when Rainbow said they gave her what worked with her she wasn't expecting that to be rephrased as they give you what you want.

I'm not knit picking, I promise.

Words matter, and for our predicaments, they are the difference between heaven, he'll, and middle of nowhere.

Mac please don't worry. If your rx records were checked by the DEA they would show that you had been with one clinic/Dr for three years and that you were not filling a multitude of prescriptions from different Drs. That alone speaks for itself and would tell a tale of someone who is truly in pain instead of one who is seeking meds to feel high.

Tammy2... I think there is a certain person on here that is running her mouth to CPR and a few other people... I think this person is stirring the pot on all fronts.... Of course, I have no proof... But this person sure does seem to have all kinds of info...

This has gone to far , Mac ask me to ask my roomate pharmacist what happens when you get accused of scrip tampering. MOUNTAIN GIRL INSTEAD OF SAYING certain person say me is what your trying to say .That's how gossips gets around .I don't report to Cpr or run my mouth about any patients .I was there that day when Amanda and doc was talking about the drug addict forum and script tampering .If you have a problem with me tell me if not keep my name out of your mouth .Sugar coating mac case isn't gonna help that guy thinks he screwed with the script by law Mountain girl not your say they have to turn it in .

I told u cpr is going hand in hand with the new plan cy rep .They put me on a 4099 a month med I know medicade won't pay for but makes more money for pharmacy. Took me off my old med .Mac if u stay with them you'll be ok .I told u that once your file mark u can't get anyone else .This isn't me making it up this is a professional telling me .Script tampering is serious .

But wendy if people have been in similar situations and were ok there is a chance that I will be fine. I know it was reported. I know. But I know a few people not on here that were red flagged and had no problem still filling their prescriptions. I appreciate you asking your roommate for me, and I know what COULD happen. But there is also the good side of what COULD happen. CPR told me to seek care in the discharge letter so I don't think they would tell me to do that if it was impossible. And they even told me it's not impossible but it can be more difficult. But thank you for the info, I will stop asking because it just stresses me out. I can't change what they did and what they think, and I got screwed without doing anything. It sucks. But don't get angry with people for trying to support me. They're not sugar coating it. People have been in the situation and been fine.

Mac the dea knows that a doc or pharmacy can put a red flag on for just having a disagreement with a patient, I have seen it done. So really all they will do is watch your script fillings for a few months to a year then you will have the flag removed if you even get a flag. I know cpr was just covering their butt by discharging you and is now showing us that you can't make any and I mean any mistakes or anything but I think they had to probably go through this Charles guy to save their butts from getting shut down. All I was saying was we don't know who but someone is a mule for cpr on this forum but it could be that Amanda has found this site either by accident or by word of mouth and so they are now purposely changing rules at their clinic now. Mac I say we start a new forum under different names and you have alot of our emails and we can talk on a new one or just encouraging post instead of info from now on, on here.

Mac tammy2 do u guys think if the dea got ahold of this fourm from CPR it cld make problems for us since are emails are on here? Cuz im sure they cld find out who we really on. I agree tammy2 either start over or just email each other I dnt go 2 cpr ever cuz im on medicaid

I didn't say anyone's name at all... I was just agreeing that it all seems a little crazy that these places are getting mixed info.... That's it.
