Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 73)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

This might mess up u getting any pain meds ever again now. You might want to call them or go there to talk to them so maybe they can work with you or not put that in your file.

OMG MAC! I am so sorry! You all have me freaked the f*** out now.

I too have seen different doctors since I started going there. It looks bad on paper, when I was at the hospital they said something about it bevause it looked like I was doctor shopping.

I don't know what to do. CPR is becoming very expensive to not get the kind of treatment that they started out with I need a place that accepts insurance really bad.

Can someone email me? I'm not allowed to post mine right?

Why did Dr. May leave? Nobody mentioned that to me.

I am on the verge of tears for MAC. He is the only reason I have found any doctor. I know we don't know each other but I feel like I am a good judge of character and based on what I've read here I've never suspected him of being dishonest or "seeking". I feel like I sound like it at times, but I'm scared because of s*** like this. I don't have a backup system or anyone that can help me.

Is SAS in Aurora? I think I just found the number for them but I'm afraid to call.

I'm going to try to go tomorrow and talk to Leonard because I DID NOT write on it.... Why would I risk so much for one day??? And all Amanda says is that my best option is to find another place but when they get the records from CPR it will say I forged prescriptions WHICH I DIDN'T DO!!!! I seriously am sooooo screwed right now.....

I just have no idea how to plead my case except to say I did not do it!!! I had a pen next to the scripts in my car and it's the same color pen as they say was on the scripts but Amanda laughed when I told her that had to be it....... idk what to do....

Mac call SAS HEALTH they do walk in go 2day they open from 9am-5pm NO UA'S NO REQUESTIN PAST DR RECORDS thats what they told me cuz I brought my MRI XRAYS and sum paperwork from doctor with wat I was on BUT call 1st say what u are on tell them cpr is cuttin ppl loose and that the mail order thing is nt wkin

Mac I know how u feel bein discharged 4 not doin nothin cuz wen I was wit dr ryan I never failed any of my UA'S never tried 2 fill early n still dnt no wat happen

Colorado pain clinic , If they put you down as script tampering you need to go right now and plead your case that can black ball you from ever receive ing any narcotics. .

I believe there is a rule (maybe legally needs to be followed) where you are allowed to get your meds at least 1 day before they expire so you don't completely run out like Mac will. I had trouble with my insurance and they explained to me that this is all they were legally obligated to do for me. Dr. May needs to know what this pharmacist is doing and what he is telling his patients, he is not allowed by law to change a script. Obviously, there is some money involved from CPR to the pharmacist by doing this but he still can't make his own rules. You need to call and let the office know what's going on. Mac my Doctor takes insurance, you may just want to talk to her and see if she is able to help you. All the Doctors refer their patients with failed surgeries and such to her so she can do their pain management.

I just started there I really like them and 4 the 1st by any doctor I was NOT JUDGE bout anything...idk wat happen 2 kasier they just started 2 act like they didnt care they didnt want 2 change nothin then they eld make me wait 3-4 days past my refil date

There is no one there to talk to!!! Leonard is the only one who makes the decision and he isn't in until tomorrow and everything I said to Amanda was hit with the response of "I don't think Leonard will accept that". But I still am going to go plead my case even though I'm calling all these other places. I've been a good patient for over 3 years....
