I recently moved to San Antonio, TX and need to find a local doctor that will prescribe me xanax for my anxiety.

Any doctor can prescribe any medication as long as they have their state and federal Dangerous Controlled Substances ID #. Unfortunately, a lot of doctors tell patients they cannot prescribe certain medications because the law will not allow it. When in fact they are lying. It would be better if they said I am not comfortable prescribing you that medication. But that would lead to upset and angry patients.

Can you please send info on Dr? I currently take 2mg Xanax 3-4 times daily and can't get them prescribed anymore because my doctor lost his practice. I’m having to find it elsewhere.

Call your insurance company and ask for the names of psychiatrists in your area that accept your insurance. You may or may not be able to find another doctor that will prescribe you Xanax.

Nobody should take that amount and I highly doubt any Doctor would prescribe that quantity without loosing their practice eventually. Are you not terrified of what could happen with withdrawals?

Hello, please help me, really need to get prescribed xanax. My anxiety is really bad and PTSD is off the charts. I've been to 3 doctors and I can't catch a break. {edited for privacy}

Can you send me the info for this doc? My physic doc won’t prescribe me Xanax for my bad anxiety and I really could use them. That’s the only medication that helps with my severe anxiety attacks.

Who is your pcp. With my ptsd and recent loss of daughter I cannot find anyone to prescribe xanex. I took it long time ago and it helped. I really need a doctor.

G cubes my wife has been on Xanax for over 7 years we are originally from Virginia we've been in San Antonio for about a year and a half I usually get them from someone a friend but I can no longer get them. It's been 5 days and she started to seize and get really ill. Please if you know some way to help me my name is Frank

Your wife needs to go to the emergency room. Withdrawals from benzos can be serious and deadly.

If she’s starting to seize she doesn’t need more benzos. She needs a taper plan from a good psychiatrist. Seriously. Benzos are no joke. The only thing to withdrawal off besides alcohol that can kill you. Yea benzos provide bliss. But at a major cost.

She needs to be treated for her addiction to benzos by a physician. Depending on the situation, there are other medications that are effective in preventing seizures.
