I recently moved to San Antonio, TX and need to find a local doctor that will prescribe me xanax for my anxiety.

Could you help me? I finally have insurance again after 2 years and I am ready to go back on my meds. I can’t even drive and hate leaving the house by myself. :(

Hi, I read your message. I know it's been two years since you responded. I live in San Antonio and my pcp who prescribes xanax to me was killed last October, now the NP who replaced him is telling me that the MD who is overseeing her wanted to regulate it and asked if I can cut down on it... I'm at 1mg 3x/day and they're asking me to take half a tab 3x a day, but I can't do it. Is there any way you can help me out? I hope to hear from you.

Coming from someone assuming everyone is abusing them and obviously never had a panic disorder. I was on them for 6 years and had no problem going off them when pregnant or not having insurance. That’s what the medication is there for. How ignorant.

Well then its time to get sick again. You are about the only person who never had a problem withdrawing? I didn't know about your 'Panic Attacks' and I'm not ignorant. Hope you get fists full of Xanax!

Don’t abuse them and you don’t have withdrawals. I’ve never had a problem. And I did get my meds thanks! Hope you have a more positive new year rather than being judgemental and assume you know so well everyone’s situations. That’s impossible. Sorry medication obviously didn’t work for you and you likely abused them. Try to stay positive.

I moved from houston ..and have also been on ativan. And looking for a dr also can anyone help..I been on it for years almost running out of my meds looking for a dr. In san antonio.. Thank you

Please let me know if anyone can help me with a referral for a dr who prescribes anxiety medication. I don’t have insurance and I’m running out of money and patience searching for a dr that will prescribe more than anti-depressants which don’t help. It would be greatly appreciated. Is there anyway of getting a referral from you? I could really use this help because I was prescribed Benzos in a mental health facility but I have no record of it and it helped me very much but no doc believes me. Help plz!
