Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medicine In Arkansas

I am located in Arkansas near Little Rock and I need to find a doctor willing to prescribe pain medicine. Please help if you know of any doctors in my area. Thank you.

You are so right. I have spinal stenosis bulging disc bone spurs deterioration and I have severe restless leg syndrome at night I'm lucky some nights to even get an hour of sleep and then I go to work and work 8 to 10 hours a day and can't get any doctor to help me. Right now I can't even get a doctor to give me Tramadol for my restless leg syndrome if I take one at night before I go to bed I don't have the Restless Leg.

I've been seeing a pain management doctor for about 4 years and finally got to a combo that worked for me. I have a broken back bone, 3 bulged discs with one on a nerve. Neuropathy which is on right side had to toe and constant non stop pain. I was taking a benzo before going to this pain doctor and he was made aware but all the sudden with all the dosage drops, I'm being told I have to pick the benzo or pain meds but can't have both. Even though it's not enforced like the reduction he all the sudden is doing this. I have tried other meds for anxiety and SAD but non benzos don't work and this will affect my career. It's not fair. Any one taking a benzo and their doc still allowing pain meds with the benzo?

My husband has been struggling with back pain for almost 3 years after unloading granite and a whole slab fell on top of him....damaging vertebrae in the lower lumbar part of his spine. Does anyone know an Arkansas dr or pain management dr that will prescribe Roxicodone 30mgs?

I am seeing a dr in mt home Arkansas and he told me that a law has be passed that they can only prescribe 4 pain pills a day. Im down to 3- 7.5 hydros and 1 tram a day. I hurt all night when im in bed. Us that truly need meds and hurt cant seem to get anything but the other people that are taking advantage get all kinds.

I am looking for a decent doctor around Northeast AR or Central AR, honestly I will drive if I have to. I am 28 years old and only take Tramadol and have taken it for 10 years. My dr is not willing to work with me. I was on a dosage that was perfect and then due to "new guidelines" he has decreased it. I am in agonizing pain and not able to function. I can't work anymore or take care of my 6 year old. Any suggestions?

Hey Dr Lou, Dr Thurman, Dr paschal, all need referrals but all take insurance. They r locking the drs down. Maybe 60 oxy 30mgs and 2 oxycontin 10s and don't like to but do let xanax float to certain folks. Hope it helps.

Pain management Dr. In or around Benton, Arkansas. My husband has had 3 back surgeries, a knee replacement, severe migraines and multiple other problems. Can anyone recommend a good Dr in saline county.

No he is not... he is not personable at all and doesn't listen to you as a patient. I have been going there since May 2017 for injections. The injections were helping me, but I became sick with whooping cough and was sick for two months and could not make my appointments so he dropped me. I had one procedure done for the left side of my neck before getting sick, and it worked. Now I'm being denied treatment and was dropped by him because I rescheduled my appointments due to... I'll say again whooping cough. Now I'm still suffering. At no fault of mine.... I would STRONGLY suggest another facility altogether. They do not care about the patient.

Hello, and thank you in advance for all your help. I have recently moved to Northwest Arkansas from Nebraska. I have been on 30 mg oxycodone three times a day since breaking my back in a car accident. I have a rod in my spine and there was a lot of nerve damage as well. I've been having problems finding a pain management doctor in this area that is accepting new patients. The one doctor I did find that had an opening refused to prescribe me anything stronger than a 10 mg hydrocodone twice a day and said that I needed to work my way down and if my pain was too severe he would gradually increase the dosage. I know what works for me and I don't think that after 5 years of taking Roxicodone that hydrocodone is going to do much for me. I wish it would, I hate how restricted my activities and even my life have become. Pain dictates my every waking hour and a lot of the hours I try to sleep. Anyone with any information, please pass it along and let me know. Thank you very much!

I'm in desperate need of pain pills for chronic back and hip pain. My PCP won't give refills... I AM NOT taking more than prescribed and he still refuses to refill. All pain clinics want to do is painful inj's. that only give relief for about 7-10 days. Then I'm right back to severe pain... And I can only get inj's. every 3 months. Please help! I'm in Conwau, Arkansas and need any suggestions you may have...

Dr Murphy is sweet but she is so scared that her license will be taken that she is cutting pts meds now because of the new CDC guidlines. I have a streneous job and this cut is going to effect my life drastically.

She is sweet but as of now with the new cdc guidelines she is decreasing all of the patients meds because she is scared of losing her license.I am looking for a new pain dr because I have to work and without the proper dosage I am in chronic pain.

I agree with you candace. Dr. Piechel is the biggest arrogant jerk I've ever met in my life. I tried him out the month before last and he doesn't give decent meds anymore that help because of the new laws they've passed. He wouldn't even prescribe me what my other doctor has had me on forever that actually helps me and on top of that the nurses charge you $20 for each prescription that may have to call and get pre-approved through Medicaid which I have never been reimbursed for. Terrible place. Everybody beware, don't ever go to this jerk.
