Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia (Page 56)

Hi,

My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

Hi there is southeast pm but my insurance they do not take .but you need proff of everything which I have but the problem is they will not take my insurance or cash .with my protein c diffency its very difficult to find a Dr I'm not allowed any surgery which I need despartly I cry all the time in pain I will keep you inform if I know anybody else.

Pain med girl could you please help me out with a Dr I could make an appointment with, who will help relieve my pain? I was struck by a car a few years back walking across the street and I am still searching for a DR who will help me get my life back

Hi, I'm sorry you have all those issues Smh I can only imagine! You're in Philly right? I just moved here in Oct but I found out if you see a Dr in a hospital, like a family practice where you can get a new PCP, you're more likely to get the help you need from specialists because the Dr will write you a referral. I go to Chestnut Hill Family Practice @ Chestnut Hill Hospital & they're great! But the specialist I'm going to for Pain Management is @ Temple. My Dr gave me pain meds until my appt, well I have to go every month to get refills & I'm only on Tramadol but hey, that's what works for me. Any questions luvmykids1207 at G, hope you can read between those lines Lol

Hey jt I found a doc but he is a total p.o.s. . But if u want to go there to hold u over till find something better he will only give up to 180m dones a month and he treats you like your a drug addict because of how much meds Dr p. Had you guys on write out your num in long from so I can get it

I know a few Drs that will help with chronic pain and other issues I need help with a Dr that takes my insurance I have been going to a place way to far for me and they suck.but there is places in bucks county.

I know a place that will help with chronic pain and other issues that prescribe meds, but must pass a drug panel and have records, pharmacy records, and insurance; Medicare no Medicaid though. Two places.

Aw main I have Medicaid. My Dr does give me tramadol but sheesh I gotta take almost 12 50-mg a day just for the pain to be subtle. You sure they don't take Medicaid?
