Hi,

My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

Hey NepKing pills are not your answer, theres a reason why your doctor cut you meds off, if your really dealing with pain and you really want your pain to be solved like your trying to say then why don't you just get the shots that the pain management clinic if offering. It would help you and you wouldn't be depended on pills. I just don't get how you could just say no to that when in reality it would help you. Stop worrying so much about getting ur 30s when you should be worrying about physical therapy and getting ur pain resolved. Or your a junkie, and trust me just because you have injuries doesn't mean your not a junkie and its a major sign to other doctors when you say no to something that will help you. But just because its not oxycodone 30 mg you don't want any part of it. Get help and I mean real help.

Hey I need help finding a doctor because I had my leg amputated & several surgeries on my left arm too & I was being prescribed 30 mg oxycodone 90 a month plus 30mg morphine 60 a month but my doctor said she don't wna write me my prescriptions anymore & she wants me to go to pain management but I've been to a couple pain management clinics & they said they don't write prescriptions for meds they just do injections in ur back & stuff like that so if u really do know any good doctors in philly please let me know their info u can text me at {edited for privacy}

I AM NOT ATTEMPTING TO BE INVOLVED IN THE THREAD BATTLE WITH RCSOUTHPHILLY AND RIPPED OFF BUT RC DID PROVIDE ME WITH INFO/INPUT FOR A FEW DIFFERENT DOCTORS IN MY AREA W/O A REQUEST FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN IE-DRUGS, MONEY, ETC. I HAVE YET TO USE THE INFO PROVIDED BUT WILL MOST DEFINITELY UPDATE THE FORUM ONCE I DO.

Are all morons? No one finds it at all suspicious that for 3 months no one steps forward to say rc has helped them, but literally right after I mention this someone comes forward and does? Does anyone want to bet me that is rc or Robyn as she's known by her parole officer, herself? I mean you must like getting ripped off and robbed? She has no doctor, why do you think she's on here, out of the kindness of her heart? Stop being so naive people. Don't come back her crying when she robs you too.

Rcphilly, I put in my info but they blocked it. I need a doc because I have lupus, fibromyalgia, irretractable migraines , totally screwed up back , and it goes on and on. I recently was diagnosed w/ ptsd from six rapes in college and two pregnancies that led to preemies under 2.5#,and am on methadone maintenance because of a drug "addiction" a counselor at this place convinced me I had 8 yrs ago in college, isn't everyone else sort of experimenting in those days? Anyway, history repeated itself and a week ago I suffered an acquaintance rape, am married to a bipolar and didn't want him to hurt the guy, so I said nothing. Problem is now I'm getting crippling attacks where I can't breathe, breathe, talk,or stop crying, night terrors, etc. Before when this happened they put me on ativan, and later when I got a bit better allprozam, I think that's it's spelling, but long story short can't find a Dr who with me on a small dose of methadone at least my clinic says so it's seventy but I've been coming down five a week cuz I'm done breastfeeding and mainly the last few yrs I couldn't get off cuz of dangers to my unborn babies and so their withdrawal chances were cut by nursing, I'm looking for an understanding Dr or psych Dr who will do something about these attacks and so I'm not afraid to leave the house, like I am now. I live in hermitage pa zip 16148, any help address or phone number of a Dr not afraid to help. Please, I feel like I'm going crazy here!

Exactly!! You nailed it. Thats a perfect word for you! I would also go with schizophrenic since you obviously had "conversations" with me that never existed. So perhaps they were the voices in your head. Or your hot plastic girlfriend. Why don't you try getting a job so that the rest of us don't have to pay for freeloaders like yourself. You can't make a career out of robbing people, that only leads to getting hurt or going to jail!!

Oh and again, you fail to explain that if I stole from you and not the other way around, why would I get on here and offer a reward for information that lead me to your whereabouts? I love how you just ignore the glaring facts and make up new ones. People, do you really think I could possibly make up those ridiculous stories? I'm not that creative. But she IS that crazy. I've given up trying to get my money back from her, she's karma's problem now and from the sound of her last post, it looks like it's starting already, justify much? Oh and where are all these people you helped? You helped 30-40 people on here yet not one in 2 months since this started has come to your defense? Anyone else find that interesting? Everything she says, does, is,is a lie. So like I said, anyone who gets ripped off and robbed by her deserves what they get. Ask yourself this, why is she so eager to "help" people. I mean she said she doesn't get anything in return right? Riiiiight. Sure. Oh she's just really nice that's why! Darin, you must seriously be on something alot stronger than pain meds because none of what you said is even remotely close to anything that I said. I have no clue as to what you are even talking about. As far as you stating that you didnt put contact info so that means you arent out to rob people makes no sense!! You contacted me did you not? You asked to illegally obtain narcotics off the street did you not? Just because you didnt put your info does not mean you arent an addict and a thief. You could easily be contacting others who made the mistake that I made and posted their info to try and help people with legit issues...Kinda funny how at least 30-40 people contacted me for doctor info or help and you're the only one with anything negative to say! Everyone else contacted me after their appointments to thank me and offer me something in return (which I did not take). Why is it that you are the only one backing up your story yet I posted on here many months ago? And I am quite sure you do have a hot girlfriend, maybe if you pray hard enough or watch Weird Science you can make her come to life! I don't know where you imagined your bathtub scenario but I have never once said anything even close to that! I also never said anything about altering my scripts or addinga zero. How is that even possible when they generally come in quantities of 30. So you get either 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 etc. So what was my doctor giving me? 3, 6, 9, 12???? Or did I change it from 90 to 900, 120 to 1200?? And anyone who gets scripts knows that the Dr. must hand write the amount out as well. So how exactly did I do that? Wait, I thought you said I dont get scripts?? Hmm, make up your mind thief!! Oh and stop lying you do smoke tree, and told me you get 30's for $25 and suboxone for $15 which Im sure is another lie so that I would have given you money and you would have never returned! Fortunately though, I don't need to buy them, I get legit prescriptions!! Furthermore, I do not have a brother so again I have no idea what youre referring too. However, if I did, I most definitely wouldnt blurt his "alleged" business to a stranger. I also never said anyone was a cop. Maybe since I "robbed" you, you should go file a police report? Luckily I still have the sim card with all of our texts on them!! And yes I admitted to getting my # changed which proves none of what you are saying! Not that it is any of your business but I chose to do that for 2 reasons, one being that my contract with my previous carrier was up and they didnt offer the phone that I wanted. The other reason being that when I posted my # on here, I tried to help people who were in pain and had legit reasons for pain meds. However, it backfired on me and I had way too many people like you contacting me, recreational users who ruin it for people with chronic pain. I have years worth of tests documenting my injuries and verifying why I require pain meds, what's your reason Darin? Now I am done playing games with you, you stole from me and then created this lie when I was never even anywhere near your house and you know it, and I have to get back to work, oh wait I mean the bathtub....ctfu. So lame dude.

I am in a similar situation with my Dr. being shut down, I have legit injuries and insurance but I'm trying to avoid the long 6 month process to get pain meds. I'm looking for a liberal doc.
