Re: NYPaul (# 768)
Shut up. You think Biden or Sanders would do better. I hope you don't find out
My friend works with the DEA in D.C. Fact is, Trump is 100% responsible for people who have medical proof (MRI, etc.) are UNABLE to receive pain medication. The only reason I get the schedule 3 med is my cancer effects from 32 radiation treatments. As usual, Trump has done this & other’s without any care for chronic pain Americans. If you voted for him,you don’t have my sympathy.
I don't know if you have had any luck but I will tell you, if you are actually in that kind of pain, if you are otherwise healthy, there is a morphine pump implant you could check on. The meds go right into your spinal canal. No euphoria, just pain relief. Check it out. Also can use dilodid instead of morphine

Agree. Live in the Burgh 6 mos & Fla the other. Last trip I woke in terrible back pain, without a fall, or any other incident, I went to Allegheny Gen ER, they did XRAYs & fitted me with a vest & pain pills for 5 days, and then I was on my own to locate a PC Dr, which I did and who promptly REFUSED to give me any pain relief, & refer me to a pain clinic. When I called them, they advised a wait of about 1 week for a freaking INTERVIEW.. so I sat in a recliner in pain, with asprin, for 30 days until I was able to locate a surgeon to do KYAPLASTY at a hosp 45 min drive to Jefferson Hosp. This is outrageous that people in legit pain cannot get help but those on the street have access to pain meds...
Re: antman (# 763)
Antman, can you give some hints? I have been without my meds my meds for a while now, Im surviving. It's better than kissing that last Dr.s ass every month and putting up with his sexual innuendos and paying him for it...the blackmail, the insults...thank god I left that Practice! I am willing to pay cash for some relief. I want to be active with my teenagers again. I miss my babies, I miss my husband! I miss my life! Thank you Ant! I wish I could wave a magic wand and cure everyone here! Pain sucks.
Re: Mas (# 762)
Sepa is very strict and it's not easy to get pain meds prescribed from them at all. Had a female friend go there after being on 15-20 mg per dose and took her 3 months to find somebody. They started her on 5mg 3 times a day. Of course she ran out after a week and half and discharged herself. She fired them.... Found another pain doc who would give her 10s within a week. Sepa doesn't do enough milligrams, they're obsessed with cdc guidlines. If you were on 5s or 7.5 then sepa might work out, but if you were on 15s 20s 30s they will immediately tell you they're gonna cut your doses down.
Re: Dmoon (# 760)
$400 down and $200 per month, there is a doctor on city line ave if he chooses to take you as a patient... I'll give hints but not willing to throw entire names on here.
Re: tree (# 40)
If you live near Phila, try SEPA pain management,if you have mris ,history of your pain medication from your pcp, they will help you, .
I live in Phila area, my family doc was giving me oxycodone for the last 4 years, 30 mg, up to 6 times a day, but a couple of months ago, he said he was getting pressure to stop writing these scripts, that I needed to find a pain management doctor, You need to have mris and proof that someone has been writing them for you. I have lots of back problems. I googled pain management doctor and found a couple of clinics. You will need a referral from your doc to the clinic. I have been taking pain meds for close to twenty years, Pa is getting stricter. They want to give shots, so you have to have good medical records.
Re: Moonchild (# 756)
OMG the same happened to me at Relievus I am now seeing a Rheumatologist but he wont do this for long. He has me at 21 mg per day now. I was on 60mg. The recommended CDC is 45 or 50 at the low end and He is telling me the CDC is making him do this. I know he is lying. He just doesn't want to do it. I am looking for a new Dr in Delaware Co PA. Ive been with Pain management for 16 years.
Re: Christin (# 17)
Would you mind sharing the drs info I am in between Philadelphia and Harrisburg .
Thank you soooo very much!
Hi, I know a lot of doctors in my area. I'm curious if you don't mind what part of Ohio do you live in? And then we can go from there before I start throwing out names.
Thank you.

If u can kindly help me out with a doctor to help me out on pain meds. I do have sever issues with my back n have medical reports if it helps to get what I need help with my pain to go away n live life normally. I will do any thing
I really find it a disgrace that we need to post on this forum to frantically search for a Dr that will give us our much needed medication. I am in the same situation as all of you. I recently left my pain management Dr as they wanted me to come in weekly at $150.00 co-pay each time in order to fill my script for the week. And pay $50.00 for 7 days of 10 mg oxycodone. $200.00 a week and yes still be in terrific pain???? No F-ing way. I walked out of my last appointment and told my Dr to shove the pills up his ass. Im now free but in serious pain. I wish you all good luck

I'm looking for a PCP in the Hanover, Gettysburg, York area.
I have degenerative discs, and 2 are buldging/protruding.
