Doctors In New York Or New Jersey That Prescribe Roxicodone 30mg (Page 3) (Top voted first)

hello so heres my question i am looking for a new pain management doctor in either the 5 borrows or in new jersey that prescribe roxycodone/oxycodone 30mg i currently have a doctor in staten island who was prescribing me 45 roxys bi weekly then uped me to 60 30mg roxys bi weekly now he has me coming in every week and lowered me to 20mg oxycodone 30 a week i told him this is not enough for me but he dosent listen to anything anybody says also i have a job and work 5 days a week he wants me to come in every friday but i cant because of work but when i tell him i cant come in every week because i have work let me come on a day i have off im going to loose my job he ignores me and just says its ok just come next week like im just some jerk off i also told him the 20s are not enough its not working im still in pain again he ignores me and says its ok just come in next week this guy does care he wants me to come in every week cause hes banking my insurance out with these weekly visits i never heard of any doctors prescibing this medication weekly or bi weekly almost every doctor does monthly visits... so what i need is a new doctor that is willing to prescribe me 30mg roxys and thats not going to judge me or just try to give me some other type of medication because i litterley have tryed every pain meds known to man and this is the only thing that acually works. i was in a bad car accident in 2008 and i have a slipped disk 3 buldging disks and a herniated disk in my lower back and with my job im on my feet all day long so my pain has got so much worse since then i cant stand longer then 2 hours at a time because mt whole back just starts locking up and the pain is there for hours even when i take my meds it takes a while to go away it sucks.. so another problem of me finding a new doc is because i am only 22 and most doctors are not willing to prescribe someone my age this medication so i need a doctor that will give me what i need without judgement and without trying to give me non narcotic pain meds or very low dose pain meds because there not going to workand i dont even want to waste my time and my insurances money. i am willing to travel to any of the 5 borrows, long island and even jersey as long as i can get a monthly script ill even do bi weekly but i cant do this with my current doctor i have an appointment friday and i dont feel like loosing a half day of work for 30 20mg oxys thats going to be finished in 3 days its not even worth it anymore i tryed talking to my doctor but dont listen to s*** that i say and it gets me really annoyed so please if anybody can help me with a new doc you dont know how much that would help thank you very very much any answers are greatly appreciated..thanks

I got def doc in nyc. I got kicked out from a saliva swab check. I need a doc in nj and ill give mines up. He gives 8 a day.

Devils fan only way to do this is to post the doc on the site. Dr freeman of the freeman pain institute. Very liberal as long as u follow the same rules as a lot of these docs. B4 I got kicked out for smokin green I was getting 90 60mg OxyContin and 90 30's. They start u off low but within a month or so they raise u up. Since we can't post email or phone numbers here u gotta post on site.

Also Rev heads up if you go to the one in Philly make sure you give them a pa address and tell them you just moved all others ones take out of state but call to make sure

I go to a Pain Institute in NJ, called the Freeman Pain Institute.The phone # is (732) 906-9600. That is the main #. They have offices in Union and Edison, NJ. The doctor I see prescribes 30 mgs. Roxycodone up to 3 times per day for me--as needed. I rarely take more than 1 or 2 a day. However, he has run diagnostics on me, and I have Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disk Disease, Sciatica, and Spinal Stenosis and Stenosis in my right leg. I don't think he would prescribe this many mgs. and this many pills to me if I didn't have all these conditions. Like others said, you can't predict what a doctor will prescribe until you go to him/her, and you may have to have AT LEAST a CT Scan and possibly an EMG by them, even if you had these diagnostics done by someone else. Make sure you bring your records with you. Here is a bit of advice too. Don't go into the office and ask for Oxycodone 30 mgs. however many you want per day. It will send up a red flag that you may be abusing them. Also, this office does random UA's. You have to sign a release form agreeing that you will cooperate. If they find any street drug or more than your regular dose of medication, you will be dropped as a patient and who knows if they may try to prosecute you. I don't know if they can do that--I don't do anything that is against what that paper I signed says. The best to you! Pain is not "fun!"

I am originally from md and moved rot nj shore 3 years ago. I was in a car accident last year and liberty mutual stalled and bulls***ed me about paper work to give me a open claim number. It took 8 and half months. During my battle I didn't have money to pay out of pocket so I would be forced to go to er so I would be billed to send to insurance. We'll I've been Told that that actually is a reason pain managmt won't perscribe Oxy that would take edge off so I can attempt to get out of house and attend p.t I have mris that are proof that I'm disabled. I'm needing a doc that will go on facts and help me try and get my Heath back and not treat me like a trend.im in such bad shape I almost had been put under to get an IV that was going to kill my nerves in top of spine. my chiropractors informed me I'm to young I'm 33 and my neck and back is not to late to recover with rehab. But p.m will only perscribe hydro 7.5 and only a few and wen I attended p.t it was to intense and ended up in er. I'm now full disability eligible and can't even go to chiropractor due to intense sweating and increased pain that has me mentally done with getting motivated to even shower and attend treatment with out a pain aid to help take edge off temp until I get healthier. Please help with refusal I have full doctor coverage and not a pill seaker but these doctors I feel insulted my chariot or and I'm starting to sound like one due to frustration. {edited for privacy}. Please help I'm about to totally give up cu I am an electrician doing construction and can't even hold a hammer long enuf even use wire nuts long enuff to even be credited as a worthy employee and it all I know. King I have no Dr in NY, but I'm close to millburn and I'm really desperate. Unfortunately you would have to post the Drs name here. Please man from one guy in pain to another can I have that Dr in Millburns name. Please I been getting no sleep cuz of the pain I'm in.

I don't know any doctor that still precribes blues.. not in the city not in long island doctors aren't going to risk it anymore no matter how much pain ur in.. oxycodone has a bad name try Asking for a dilaudid 8mg and a time release morphine sulfate.. and I would know it does help with the pain. Stop blasting the blues down ur addiction is completely taking over.. my fiance totally blew out his back blew out 6 discs in his back and 2 in his neck has had a total of 6 surgeries and he needs 2 more he's lucky he can walk and trust me he was a taking oxy oxy oxy and so was I it was so easy to get with his records.. but it never helped his pain just aided our addictions.. his doctor has him on a variety of medications maybe 5.. only 2 opiates and he's never been better.. so find a professional people not someone to fuel ur drug addiction.. u can talk about how much pain ur in.. and cry about it but ur only trying to justify it to urself and make it seem like it's okay.. be well

I would look on zocdoc and put in pain medicine. When you find a dr. in your area check out the reviews and then copy his/her name and do a Google search.. You will come up with other sites where people will leave a review. Some where you can even make an appointment. I myself am searching as my dr. does not listen to my needs either. I have recently been through approximately 5 dr's. What I have learned is to look for in reviews a 10-15 minute visit=no physical therapy. And also look for sometimes an anesthesiologist because they are the ones who give out scripts. Never look under sports medicine. They do not prescribe! Sorry but for now that is the best advice I can give any of you as the dr. I am currently seeing is an egotistical b****** and will not listen and his office is in utter disarray with at least a 2 hour wait, sometimes up to 4 hours.
