Doctor In Pittsburgh Pa That Prescribes Xanax Or Klonopin (Top voted first)

Every doc I've met with here in Pittsburgh Pa will only take cash if they prescribe you xanax.. Very unethical but since I have insurance I would like to find a doctor to prescribe me the meds I need. I would take either although I like the Klonopin better, xanax cause my depression to worsen after I take them... Anyone know of any Psychiatrists that will take my insurance and prescribe me meds?

I've been prescribed xanax for over thirteen years. I also go to a methadone clinic. I recently had a falling out with my psychiatrist and she ripped me off of my xanax!!! I cannot find a doctor that is methadone friendly, takes my insurance, and will prescribe me xanax that I must have for my severe panic disorder and high anxiety. I can't stand being treated like I'm a "drug seeker", but I know what I need after this long...from process of elimination as a teenager. Please help! I live in mercer county,I have amerihealth/mercy... insurance through the state. I can't go tthrough this pain for another second. But even my pcp says they called everyone they could think of and they've given up, hands are tied!!! What's going on!? I feel like I'm in the twilight zone here!!! Please please please help me:'(

In mt Lebo there's a great dr that will prescribe u xanax or joins as long as u have no substance abuse history and he takes most insurance. but if u have upmc u will have to make him ur pcp and if u want to abuse them and take bars 3 times a day don't bother going. the practice is called medihelp and u want to go to dr j or his son and if u think u can get away with being on substance abuse drugs ur mistaken. they do blood diagnostics before and wait a month to prescribe u them they are very serious and by the book

You're no physician. You wouldn't have scored a 2 in the MCAT verbal reasoning section. Everybody on the internet is a doctor. Hint, we generally use the term physician to refer to ourselves and our colleagues. Doctor is a very broad term. ie.) Dr. Phill

Thats absolutely horrible, it disgusts me. I've been prescribed the same medication for over thirteen years, xanax is one of them.and bc some idiot in my town doesn't care for me, she decided to call my doc and tell doc lies about me being an alcoholic just bc she saw me at a restaurant with my family having an alcoholic beverage!!! She ruined my live bc I was taken off of my much needed medication! Bc of people like that I am now sitting here withdrawaling, with the worst anxiety I've ever experienced, just watching my life fall apart before my eyes.

If ur close to Wexford try a Dr off the rt. 910 off I 79. They're a group of DR'S who take ur ins. West penn psychiatry group. I'll give you another one Stauton clinic in Sewickley 15 mile North of Pittsburgh. They're 1/2 mile past Sewickley Bridge on 65/ (next) to Burger King. I'm sure there's a dr who would help you there. They might have changed the name to Primary Health Network. Good Luck

YA U JUST CAN'T GO IN AND SAY I HAVE ANXIETY GIVE ME BARS OR PINS. NOW ITS THE HARDEST TIME EVER TO GET DOCTORS TO PRESCRIBE BENZO'S. SO MANY PEOPLE AR DYING BECAUSE THEY ARE MIXING THEM WITH ILLICIT DRUGS OR ANY OPIATE AND THEY ARE OVERDOSING. LOOK UP THE NUMBER ONE DRUG PEOPLE OVERDOSE ON. BENZODIAZEPINES ARE #1 HAVE HAD SO MANY FRIENDS OVERDOSE ON XANAX. I DONT HAVE ENOUGH FINGERS AND TOES TO COUNT CLOSE FRIENDS WHO DIED ON THEM. "Please be careful if ur gonna mess with this drug" IF U HAVE NEVER TAKEN THEM I BEG U PLEASE DONT DO IT. I ALMOST DIED GOING THRU WITHDRAWAL. ONLY 2 DRUGS CAN KILL U FROM WITHDRAWAL ALCOHOL AND XANAX/PINS. GOD BLESS

I am from the mercer county area.. I go to butler pa.. Have no problem at all getting my xanax. I have been on them 10yrs now and would not know what i would do to survive if he took me off. He is a wonderful dr... If anyone wants to know his name and number i would freely give it out. Not sure if i can here.

I'm brandon, my acute anxiety disorder is wreaking havoc on my work, my life, and family...my racing thoughts are so bad along with me having PTSD from my parents SCREAMING AND YELLING. TILL THIS DAY I JUMP AND GET VERY OVERWHEMINGLY scared to due to THE LOUD NOISES...IM SCARED TO BE AROUND GROUPS OF PPL AND I ALWAYS FEEL REALLY SCARED AND FEEL THREATENED AROUND GROUPS OF PPL and i get scared from PTSD KICKING IN. Plz help me make an appt. ASAP... My job and family life are being highly affected by my acute anxiety disorder.... Yes, what's stated in this article is almost correct. I was put on Klonopin in 1992. I've been on and off of Benzo's since then. The strongest dose I was ever prescribed was Xanax, 2mg's 4 x a day. 8 mgs. I'm currently on 3, 2 mg bars per day. I also have severe insomnia, I'm prescribed 10 mg Ambien tablet each night before bed. I've been on these the same amount of time as benzos. I've had Dr.s try to ween me off many times. What these Dr.'s do, is lower the dose to .50 of Klonopin, and add about 15 or 16 other medications to help with the symptoms. I think this is absolute foolishness! Before being put on my regular Psych meds, I never did drugs, except for alcohol. I drank at parties and night clubs. Once it was no longer Taboo and I turned 21, it wasn't fun anymore. I was really against drug's of any kind. I had a wonderful Psychiatrist, for yrs and unfortunately, he began to get very ill and had to have surgery and close his office. and everyone of his parents lost their Dr.. Very sad and distressing as well. Even if you can find a doctor in this day in age who will prescribe my ,regular medications, you are required to pay cash. Every time I've been forced off of my meds, I end up very suicidal and then it costs so much more $ to have to have an ambulance called because I'm either clinically dead or very close. I couldn't begin to guess how many times, I awoken in a hospital, all alone, with IV's in my arms and a catheter. These Doctors should have thought about this many yrs before this. It is far more dangerous to take me off of the two meds that work. Other people like me, should not be forced to suffer. I have PTSD, GAD and panic attacks. I'm about 50 yrs old and I've taken these meds for about 25 years. At this point in my life, I know that taking me off would do far more damage, then if we just leave well enough alone. After my Dr. got really sick and had to close his office, I had to try to find a replacement Dr.. I have the most excellent therapist. I'm very blessed to have her. I was already aware that this place does not prescribe anything that could be addictive. I called my therapist as soon as I received the letter from my Dr. and told her that I was in panic mode. She's also the director of the place and it's many offices. She thought that they could make an exception. I saw this really mean Dr. He didn't let me fill out my paperwork and just started screaming at me. I had been severely abused by my stepdad since the age of 2. He beat me like a man. For this reason, I get horribly terrified when a grown man screams at me. He yelled the whole time I was there. I told my therapist and he got wrote up. He also took me from my usual dose of 3, 2mg's bar's a day down 2 full mgs. I went into seizures and was extremely ill. My Therapist switched me to another DR.

She is much nicer and doesn't yell or scream at .me. However, she immediately started talking about reducing my meds. The goal she has in mind is to slowly but surely decrease me to totally take me off my 2 meds. I've had Dr.s try to replace my meds with SSRI's that dont even help in the slightest bit. I really need help. DESPERATELY SEEKING A DOCTOR IN THE PITTSBURGH / BUTLER COUNTY AREA, in Pennsylvania. Thank you for sharing any info you have. I do have Medicaid. Please list even if they only accept cash.P.S, These Dr.s and government, since they are well aware of the Eugenics that is happening in our Country. I'm speaking about the poisonous Fluoride in our water supply The cancer causing GMO'S in Our food. They make Chickens double their natural size, being pumped with antibiotics to triple their size. Do you know what Astpertane is? It's the feces made from the Eboli virus and it defecates, they ground this up in that is the sugar that they are having you eat today. Also corn is the most dangerous crop grown in America. 95% of Corn grown in America Soybean is also GMO and very dangerous to ingest. If any of you will please take the time to educate yourselves, it's imperative that Americans wake up now and start fighting against this evil system. Cow's are almost in all cases not allowed to roam and graze on green grass, they, along with Chickens or pork. They are crammed into wall to wall rooms. No Sun light. The real farmers who try to do it the right way are spied on by the evil corporations like Montsonto farmer's who are doing the right things are taken to court by these evil corporations and they don't have the money to fight them. They are strong arming the good farmers. Please watch the documentary, "Food, Inc.. They're also dumping Chemtrails on us. This is Agenda 21 And Agenda 2030.. This is meant To kill us. People wonder why we are sick and dying. The USDA protects the evil ones. If Dr.s starting to write to President Trump, I believe he cares about America. These atrocities formentioned are far greater than any pharmaceutical drug. They are killing people by the hundreds of thousands with Cancers and many other diseases. Please write to your president and your congressman. Thank you. In the early 80's, I still felt great and didn't require any meds. I believe in all of my heart, that when George Soros is producing at least 1/4 of our food supply, mostly everyone's gonna be sick. Don't take other drugs with xanax or klonopin together and u will not overdose...I have had countless friends & people I knew overdose from this lethal mixture. Also I have many friends who have multiple years clean with the help of certain benzodiazapines & anti-depressants when taken as prescribed. Everyone has an opinion. Talk to a psychiatrist or Doctor (MD) who specializes in addiction.
