It's not okay to use that shot when you have diabetes. If you use it your sugar levels will go way up

I have 2 lower back hernia, pain was unbearable, doctor prescribed Diprospan, 1 mg three times per week. So its 3 mg in one week suspension (injections) After I finished the treatment I wish I never started.. I am literally falling apart. I can't walk due to pain in my knees ( one of them came out ( miniscus)) my legs on fire, pain in my wrists, weight gain (5kg in one week) period delay 4 days, constipation, and I have no idea what else will happen next week. Apparently I found out from net that max dosage can be given no more then 2 mg per week..I took 3 mg. And all my problems are side effects.. Its horrible medicine, it even can make your heart stop. How come doctor prescribed it 3 times per week?!? How I will recover from it? Please help!

For all the people who's asking if Diprospan is good for pollen allergies, yes it is the best thing you can get, but isn't something you can get at the pharmacy or with prescription, doctors know this is the cure but if they give you that you won't come back, soo instead they'll give you Claritin and make you dependable of it, i personally take a shot of diprospan every 2-3 years and now seems like i dont need it anymore, when i first got it it was unbelievable in a matter of 30 min all my allergies were gone, you'll only find this shot at mexican market stores since its a mexican medicine and it gets here illegally, witch means you need to find a mexican and ask for it cause you wont be able to get it if you're not mexican, people is afraid of being reported for that, hope you guys can get the same results

Omg this shot works great, no more allergies for the whole year. I recommend it. I live in san jose california and i buy it at the flea market. Use to be 40 but it went up to 55. Still cheaper then all the meds i use to buy.

Me and my husband have realy bad alergys so he gets Diprospan shot 2ml evry year for us.. we live in dallas tx and he gets them at the herry hainz bazzar for like 40 or 50 each shot and am telling you its worth it

Had the same problem for years with my hands. Doctors prescribed different creams. All seemed to make it worse. Went across the border into Tijuana. Right away he commented that it was contact dyshidrosis. Over 18 month I received 10 injections in Mexico. My hands cleared up and now im not walking around around with my hands clenched hiding my split open hands. This was 4 years ago. Six weeks ago my left hip became so sore that i had a hard time walking I would get out of the car and have to stand for a couple of minutes to walk. A week ago i started walking with a cane. I,m 56 and in basic good health. Remembering reading about this injection helping with joint pain I went yesterday for another injection after four years. In six hours I was walking without the cane and this morning the severe pain as totally gone. So happy I could cry. I felt I needed to share this. BTW, the injection in Mexico is 350 pesos or about half this in dollars which is at this time 19 dollars.

I used Diprospan for many years and yes its like a miracle for any pain in your body , but the side effects are terrible. I definitely don't recommend please do a lot of research before using Diprospan.

What kind of side affects did you have?
I believe it is not for continuous use according to reports. When I had the problems with my hands I had 9-10 injections over 2 years. I'm carefull with any meds and do not like to use unless necessary.
My side affects are sleeplessness and hick-ups for the day afterwards.

diprospan is great for allergies. my husband only has to take it once every 2 years. my niece takes it 1 time a year when her allergies are bad and it clears up their allergies right away. we have used it for years.
