It a small round plain white tablet. I'm would just like to know the mg before taking ## Hello, Crystal! How are you? I can't tell you anything about it without some markings or something to go by, if there aren't any, we can't even be certain of what the tablet contains. That said, Diphenhydramine is actually not a sleep medication, it is an antihistamine that can cause drowsiness as a side effect, that is often augmented when Acetaminophen is added, so it is often used to help induce sleep. Do you know anything else about the tablet you're questioning?

blue oblong pill. What is it and what is it for? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? This tablet contains 25mgs of Diphenhydramine and 10mgs of Phenylephrine, it is an over the counter product that's used to treat cold and allergy symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

i cant sleep in the nights Please suggest me and give the tablets names ## Have you seen a doctor for this? Insomnia can have natural causes, or it can be caused by other medical conditions and if that is the case, you will need proper treatment for such a condition, in order to rectify the problem. Some medications used to treat it require a doctor's prescription, while some are available over the counter, however, since I don't know what country you are in, I don't know what your exact options are. Many over the counter products use Diphenhydramine as their active ingredient, since it is an antihistamine that causes drowsiness as a side effect. ## i just want to know about the tablets like alprax .. for my knowledge ...and suggest me in every posible way

Is this pill good for an allergic reaction that cause you to have hives that itch real bad ## Hello, Lesa! How are you? This tablet contains 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergic reactions, it's even the first choice used if you have a bad one and go to the ER. Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. However, it can cause some pretty serious drowsiness, so it shouldn't be taken at a time when you need to be alert, such as when you need to drive or operate machinery. You should also only take it, if your doctor says that it is safe for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took a drug test for a new job and was in shock to hear the doctor tell me I had taken a muscle relaxer or diazepine; which I had not. When I told him I had not he kept asking me "did I borrow any medicine from anyone" instead of trying to help me find the real problem that may have caused this error. I had taken over the counter Allergy Capsules Diphenhydramine HIC* Antihistamine, Multi-Symptom Allergy Relief *Acetaminophen* Phenylephrine HIC* Chlorpheniramine maleate, BC Arthritis, Tylenol Cold Multi-Sympton Severe, Benadryl*Diphenhydramine, and RX meds Losartan, Hydrocodine-APAP Lortab, Prilosec, Zocor, Fluoxetine, and Mirapex The so called doctor I spoke with on the phone was so rude and just kept trying to get me to say I had taken a "borrowed" medicine....never !...

I found a baggie of unlabeled hot pink capsules with white powder inside. Does anyone know what this could be? ## Hello, Killakev! How are you? Without any markings, it's difficult to determine what they contain, unless you would pay to have them lab tested somewhere. However, we can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription product, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. And a wild stab at what they are, but I've seen some Diphenhydramine capsules that meet this description, a generic or store brand of Benadryl. Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. Does anyone else have an idea of what these might be?

im always in alot of pain so i take trmadol for pain but i cant sleep at night so i need to take zzzquil but i dont know if it would be safe. ## Hi, Julie! How are you? The Diphenhydramine in the Zzzquil can cause elevated levels of Serotonin and so can the Tramadol, so it's best not to mix them, unless your doctor says it's okay for you to do so. If your serotonin level goes too high, you can develop serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Zzzquil details here. And FYI for anyone looking to save some money, Diphenhydramine is the same ingredient in Benadryl and the store brand/generic equivalents, so you actually don't have to pay the price for this one. Is there anything else I can help with?

Yes It's from the U.S. it is a diphenhydramine. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergy) symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes and to relieve itching and swelling associated with uncomplicated allergic skin reactions. It is also used as a short-term sleep aid, to control coughs due to colds or allergy, and to prevent/treat motion sickness. Diphenhydramine is available in nonprescription products alone and in combination with other nonprescription drugs, to treat symptoms of allergy, colds, and upper respiratory infections. The specific one your referring to I know for 100% is a shop rite brand because I use them myself. Though to be on the safe side I would never ever use any drug (OTC, PRESCRIBED or HOMEOPA...

What is a white oblong pill with 033 on one side, 57344 on the other? ## I found a white, elongated tablet with 57344 on one side and 033 on the other. I cannot remember what drug it is. Can you clarify? thanks! ## Right now it is speculated that this pill is possibly an over-the-counter product from AAA Pharmaceuticals. The reason is because the 57344 imprint exists on some of their products, but with other letters/numbers instead of the 033. I just sent them a message trying to contact them so hopefully they will respond with some additional details. Do you have any other information which you could post? what is the dosage for adult 71 yrs old ## Hi sylvia, The usual adult dose of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) tends to vary slightly depending on what you're using it for.
