Can astymin forte capsules make one grow fat/big? ## Atymin is a nutrition supplement made up of essential amino acids. Our bodies do need certain amounts of them, for proper health. However, the only way they should make someone gain weight is if they are deficient in them and that has caused them to suffer weight loss. And, even in such cases, it would not cause severe weight gain. I just start taking Contrave. I am on day 5 with one pill in the morning and haven't been sleeping much at all. Scared to take two pills a day. Any suggestions on what will help? Don't want to stop taking it because I can tell my cravings are more controlled. I already take a Melatonin a night. I also drank some sleepy time tea last night. So my adipex got wet and I can't get a refill on them. But they swelled up and turned blue. When you pick them up they fall apart. Is it ok to still take them as they are since they are kinda mushy and just drink it with something or mix it in and drink it? Hi my name is Letty. I was also taken Yeduc. When I began taking it I was @ 181 now after 4 months my weight is 127. It's not a joke. Yeduc is really good and the shots with Cardispan help alot. Hi. I was on contrave for four months, lost 17 lbs and felt great. There were some side effects, like stomach ache and head ache but nothing severe. Ive been off the drug for about 10 days for vacation and would like to start again. I have called and left messages for my doctor twice and have not gotten answer back regarding the dosage. I've been taking Contrave for about 2 1/2 months. During week 6 or so I was hospitalized with a severe UTI and kidney infection (4 days). The hospital wouldn't give me Contrave during my stay but I resumed when I got home by taking 1 pill a day for a week, then back to the normal doesage of 4/day. I am not noticing any benefits from the Contrave now. 1. I'm wondering if the UTI was a side effect of the Contrave (it's listed as a possible side effect) and 2. On day two of Contrave but also on 30mg of cymbalta. My doctor didn't seem to have any worries on both together. Has anyone been on both. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I am trying to find a doctor near Portland, OR that will prescribe Qsymia for me. The only thing you can really do is see a doctor, discuss your problem with them and ask them about trying it. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? Does Jevity 1.5 cause constipation and excessive gas and hiccups? ## Good question I was wondering the same thing! My mother has been on Jevity 1.2 cal through a feeding tube for about 7 days now and she has not had a bowel movement. She is not eating much of anything else and we have increased the water we put in the tube but she still has not gone. She has dementia and doesn't always know if something is bothering her or not. My Dr started me on the 7.5 mg dosage. Is this normal? ## No, the normal starting dose of Qysmia is the lowest, 3.75/23mg for 14 days, then stepping up to the 7.5/46mg dosage. I've just been on prednisone treatment and I can't seem to shed the pounds I gained due to taking the steroids for a temporal diseased I suffered.
