How are you? In order for the medication to be effective, you should take the full dose as prescribed. Which side effects concern you? Perhaps that can be addressed to help you. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness and anorexia.
Need to know when these expire. The ones I have are dated 2005. Are they fake?? I took them years ago and they are suppose to stop my body from digesting fat. It sure gave me greasy stool. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Are there any markings on them? That is what would enable me to check more details on them for you. However, generally most medications expire one year from when you received them from your pharmacy, due to the fact that they degrade over time and slowly lose efficacy. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, anorexia, headache, runny nose and loss of voice.
white pill w/blue specks v 50 30 ## This tablet contains 37.5mgs of Phentermine, which is a psychostimulant that used to help with weight loss. It may cause side effects related to its mode of action that can include nausea, headache, insomnia and anorexia. Learn more Phentermine details here. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I personally have used phentramine for years off and on. I have lost a lot of weight from the medication. I use it during the hard times like right after the holidays or if I just need a little boost. But they can be addicting for some but when taken under a doctors care and keeping it under control it can be a very helpful weight loss tool. I do know it can cause anxiety and other side effects that aren't so great it just depends on how desparate ...
I was diagnosed with pcos& recently started taking glyco X 500. I'm overweight unable to lose it, I've had 2 menstrual cycles in the past couple years. Can anyone tell me if they've had these symptoms & have gotten better using the glyco X 500? ## Hello, Babydoll! How are you? The FDA classifies GlycoX as a supplement, which means that it's not actually been proven to do anything. Did your doctor instruct you to take this? Did they make any treatment recommendations? It has been found that PCOS can improve by improving someone's insulin resistance, but usually prescription antidiabetic medications are prescribed, as listed by the NIH.
Are these two OK to take together? I haven't noticed any major changes, but know they both may effect how you feel. A little strange. but all I've noticed is not wanting to be in large crowds or go out as much as before. I start to fell claustrophobic. ## Hello, Hudson! How are you? Is your doctor aware that you are taking both? Doxepin and the Bupropion in the Contrave tend to increased the toxicity of each other, which can lower your seizure threshold and cause other issues. That doesn't mean they can't be taken together, but the dosages should be kept as low as possible and your doctor should be monitoring you regularly. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Contrave as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and dry mouth.
any ideas what it is round white scored tablet ## I haven't been able to locate a match under any of my prescription drug resources; but I did find on another thread that the imprint "224 3850" on a round "yellowish" pill was a Stacker 2 Ephedra Free, over-the-counter "fat burner" pill. Does this sound familiar by chance? From what I could gather, this pill is manufactured by NVE Pharmaceuticals. Unfortunately, since this pill does not show up under any specific databases, I cannot verify the validity of my findings. So just to be sure, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything similar. And as a last resort option, you could ask them about getting the pills ingred...
I took my first Contrave this morning and it will be my last! I am on long-term hydrocodone due to spinal stenosis. My doctor told me I would have more pain due to the opioid blockers in Contrave. However I got hit with stomach cramps, severe diarrhea, chills, and terrible nausea (sitting on the loo with my head in a waste basket). Is this why people lose weight, because they're so nauseous they want to die? Maybe remembering how horrible I felt will help me curb my bad eating habits because I wouldn't take another Contrave if I were at gunpoint!! ## Hello, Pam! How are you? I think that what you experienced was actually precipitated withdrawal caused by the opiate blocker in it. Generally, these medications should not be given to someone that is on an opiate, unless they are al...
Hello, I have been on Contrave for 7 days with a lot of nausea. While I lost 5 lbs by day 6, I have thrown up 4 out of 7 days! I've recreated the meals I ate on days I kept food down but that wasn't a guarantee I would not get sick. I got vertigo two weeks before I started Contrave so I had been using a motion sickness prescription patch. Others mentioned dramamine, bonine and ginger - still no guarantee on keeping the nausea in check. I will say when I put a new patch on at night, the next day usually prevented vomiting. But...it is not good to stay on those motion sickness meds so I stopped today. I will try an otc oil. I am hoping the severity of the nausea and vomiting was due to vertigo but as only day one is bad for me with vertigo, I'm not sure if I'm being overly...
Second night I got a really bad headache, it could have been from sugar withdrawal. Headache lasted through day three. I did not take contravene on day three, scared of another headache. My question is will headaches get better/worse? Should I give it another go? ## It seems like my headaches got less severe and less frequent after a few weeks. I recently stopped taking it bc I didn't think it was really helping that much but it was lol. I figured that out after I stopped it. So I'm on day 2 again now and I'm having really bad headaches again too. I feel your pain! ## According to NIH.gov, you should talk with your doctor if you experience headaches while taking naltrexone or bupropion (the two active ingredients in Contrave). I'm on my 3rd week, getting ready to do 2 pills in the morning one in the evening. I was wondering if I should tAke the 2pills in the morning together or maybe an hour apart. I have been doing ok on he pills so far, I do feel werid some days. So I'm a little scared to up the dosage ## Hello, Christie! How are you? They should be taken together, at the same time. What do you mean by saying that you feel weird? Could you please be more specific? Thanks! The FDA lists the typical side effects of Contrave as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and insomnia.
Eventhough i've taken phentermine 30 mg for 2.months and had lost 16lbs, it's not working for me this time, has anybody experienced my situation? ## Yes I've got the same problem. It isn't my first experience with them. They used to be effective. But now, I ve been taken them for months without loosing a pound... So sad and fat !!! ## Very sorry to hear it, however, most weight loss medications do only so much. The rest generally has to be done with regular diet and exercise. There might be some other medications you can try for a little more of a boost to your weight loss, such as: or Have either of you tried consulting your doctor on what your next step should be? ## If you're filling your script online, try changing providers. Some medications are severely cut wit...
My 7 month old was prescribed amox tr-K 600-42.9/5 suspension for an ear infection. I saw it had potassium and aspartame in it. I was also told to give my 7 month old Culturelle along with this which also has mannitol in it. Are these meds safe for a 7 month old and anything I should watch out for? ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? It is far, far more dangerous to let the infection continue out of control, that can cause severe pain for your child and, if it went to far, it could cause sepsis and death. This is an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. The aspartame is just added to try to make it taste better for children, otherwise, it tastes horrible. Culturelle is a probiotic to help keep the goo...
I just started taking the 30 mg phentermine, (Lannett 0597) pills and they are not working at all like the phentermine I took on and off from 1999 to 2006. These are making me feel awful, jittery, nervous, upset stomach, not much energy at all and not curbing my appetite like the phentermine pills I used to take. I am not sure what to think. I used to take the white pills with little blue speckles in them and they worked great without any of the above side effects. If anyone can offer an explanation for why these are so different from the others and making me feel this way without the benefits, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, do you think changing to another form might help? thanks ## Our bodies do change with time, so it could be that this medication just doesn't work for you,...
If anyone knows where to obtain phentermine pills please let me know? ## i need a real rx for phentermine form a real dr in raleigh can anyone help..besides the clinic its alot of money or does anyone have any to sell me/i am here in raleigh ..thanks ## If you are looking for Phentermine for weight loss, there are much safer natural alternatives without the side effects that this drug can evoke. Maintaining healthy lifestyle eating habits and a consistent exercise regime is a much more effective and safer method to losing weight and keeping it off your whole life as opposed to relying on a diet pill to control your instincts. Of course everyone knows this, but not everyone practices what they know. There is no pill that will make you lose weight. Weight loss is achieved through burning ...
Does phentermine contain phenylephrine ## Hello, Carmel! How are you? No, Phentermine is the active ingredient. The FDA classifies this medication as stimulant used to aid in weight loss. It carries the risk of being habit forming and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with?
My friend just administered five 30 mg adipex....first they did one and didn't feel it...then another, then another, still not what they thought it'd be...so they took 2 at one time and shortly after was ready for bed....then they had 2 more because they thought it didn't give the desired results....very rapid heart beat...sweating....trouble getting a deep breath.....vomiting...hurt all over... So that's 210 mg of adipex 30mg each.....after vomiting and trying to calm them down..they are now sleeping....I'm afraid to go to sleep because I'm afraid they may stop breathing. ## Yes, you do have good reason to be concerned. The FDA classifies Adipex as a stimulant, so along with the risk of being habit forming, an overdose could cause some potentially dangerous effe...
It is used for a weight loss program. There is phen-phen but phenchrome is different. Phenchrome is safer than phen-phen ## Is phenchrom safe for weight loss...and what are the side effects ## Where can I buy the weight loss drug named Phenchrom? I can't find it anywhere. Is there a different name it is sold under? ## I got it from my gyno, there are only a few places that make it, I believe you have to go to a pharmacy that combines drugs because its two different ones. I've been on it about 2 months and have lost almost 40 pounds. Not sure how healthy that is... but I needed it! I also am on a diet 100 calories every 3 hours, no carbs, sugar or red meat. I eat a lot of fat free yogurt, cottage cheese, lowfat cheese, fruits and veggies! Some Grilled chicken and fish. The only a...

UpdatedIt's shiny white with "as" on both sides. Oblong, larger in size and I believe could be hydroxycut. I looked it up on the internet with no results as to what this is. Please if you know respond soon. Thank you. I'm a med student and haven't found it in my drug book.
Updated in HydroxycutI started belviq last Saturday I've been taking one pill at 6am and then my 2nd pill is at 1;00-2:00pm only because my doctor told me not to take it too late because I won't be able to sleep.
