I bought what I thought were generic Alli 120mg but was sent blue capsules filled with a white powder instead. I know for a fact that the active ingrediant in Alli (Orlistat), is actually small white bead-type drug. So, what is this powder? Only God knows! I've written my letter of complaint to the on-line pharmacy concerned, but no reply. I will see about getting my money back. ## Sorry to hear about your experience when ordering this medication. However, it is important to note that not all manufacturers are going to use the same manufacturing process when making any given medication. Rather than the bead type, they may use a different release...

Is adipex safe for people on high bp meds had a hemoragic stroke 3 years ago and fully recovered is it safe to use thanks ## Hello, Dorothy! Well, the final decision would be up to your doctor, but most likely not. This medication can raise blood pressure, since it contains Phentermine, which acts as a stimulant to suppress appetite. As listed by the FDA, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness and insomnia. Has this been prescribed for you?
I have chronic hives and take tachrilomus. Would it be safe to take redotex every other day in half a dose? ## Hello, Annie! How are you? No, I can't tell anyone that it is safe to take Redotex in any amount. The FDA has found serious reasons to question its safety. If you need to lose weight, it would be best and safest to talk to your doctor about what might work for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have chronic hives as well (dermatographism) I take 2 Allegra a day and redotex, no side effects. I lose weight and hives under control

I have tried both medications at different times over the past two year. I was placed on them having gained 80 pounds in 9 months and having difficulty with obesity for most of my life. Also I was diagnosed as diabetic type 2 at about the same time and needed to curb my appetite. Initially I took Qsymia - yes it is more than twice as expensive than Contrave. Qsymia cost about $220 for a month's supply with a discount card you can get from the company who makes the medication or your Pharmacy may have a card they can use. Insurance does not cover either drug as far as I know. Contrave costs less than half at $80 for a month's suppy. It can be up to a week before your script is filled. If you bring your script into a Pharmacy not associated with a hospital they may need to order t...

Hi - My Dr prescribed Belviq after several years of healthy eating and exercise with nothing but a slow weight gain. Took all the necessary blood work / tests to rule out anything else. It's working so far but now I've dropped enough weight after one month that I'm just below the 30 BMI now. I go back to see my DR in a week for a weight in and to get a refill but am worried that either my DR or my Pharmacist won't fill it now that I'm below 30. I've read everything possible and don't see this answer out there, and all I see is the statement that Dr can prescribe if a patients INITIAL BMI is above 30, does that mean they can continue to refill / write additional RX after I'm below since I started above? I really haven't lost that much weight and am no ...
I would like to know what diet pills or aides I can take with metroprolol succerer. can I take adipex.the weight gain has been afful with this medicine ## Hello, Connie! How are you? If it's causing that much of a weight gain, you may be better off switching off of this, because regardless of what else you take to lose it, it's really not going to help much, as long as the root cause is still there. Have you consulted your doctor? You may do better with a medication that isn't known to cause as much weight gain. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain and hypotension.
I found an expired bottle of bontril 105 mg but it was prescribed in 1998 are they still ok to take ## Hello, Anna! How are you? No, medications do lose effectiveness over time and even under optimal storage conditions in the original factory sealed container, the maximum shelf life of any of them is about 5 years. Thus, these should just be disposed of properly. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with?
I am on 70mgs of methadone and have gained 65lbs while being on it and cant lose the weight even if my life depended on it! I tried everything from diet and exercise and every diet pill out there. Phentermine did make me lose 10lbs but no more then that even when i continued taking it for months later. So i stopped and gained the 10lbs back and plus some. I wanted to try belviq to help lose weight. I keep trying to research it to see if it works with methadone but cant find a answer. Anyone out there have any luck with belviq while on methadone? ## I've been on methadone for pain management for 5 years now, now at 60 mg per day. I, like you, was so desperate to try something to help my weight (I've gained 50 lbs while on Methadone). My doctor prescribed me belviq a few months ag...
I have a really bad migraine, the first one I've had since i started taking Belviq. Can i take my Maxalt? if not how long do i need to be off Belviq before i can take it? ## Hello, Dina! How are you? No, they shouldn't be taken together, unless your doctor approves, because they can both raise serotonin levels, which may create the risk of your developing serotonin syndrome which can be fatal. It would be best to check in with your doctor to see what you can safely take, with the Belviq. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Belviq as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi, I started taking Belviq but I have two slipped discs that cause severe muscle spasms and pain. I usually take a flexeril and it helps. I don't see it anywhere but so many drug interactions I'm scared to take it. ## There is nothing in the label to suggest that it should be a problem. You might take the first flexeril overnight or over the weekend if you are worried and can judge any issues while at home. ## Hello, Sxmack! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these two medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Belviq as possibly including nausea, dizziness, bladder pain, anxiety and ear congestion. Is there anything else I can help with?
Hi. I started Adipex under my doctor on February 18 at 180lbs. I'm 5'4". . March 18's weigh-in, I was 173.8. Last month weigh-in I was 170.1. This was my 3rd weigh-in today (I was supposed to go in on Friday last week but the Dr had an emergency) so I was told to come in today. I knew I was going to be starting my period, but reluctantly I still went. 2 days ago my weight was 168.8!. Today, however, after starting my period last night, I weighed in at 173.0. :( Because I had gained 3lbs,despite being on my cycle, the Dr told me to come back on Friday to lose the water and be off my cycle so the weight is accurate. But now I have no adipex, and am afraid the weight won't change he without it. I need to be 169 on Friday in order to get the last 30 day dose of my prescr...
I can't find any information on specifically how long before a meal to take Belviq to get the optimal performance from the medication. I just started on it yesterday and want to make sure I'm giving this my best try. ## Hello, CB! How are you? From what I'm reading on the Belviq site, there is no particular time span that it needs to be taken before a meal, as a matter of fact, they say it can be taken with or without food, so if it causes nausea, you may want to take it with food to help minimize that. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dizziness, changes in memory or thinking, irritability, anorexia and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I think it is around 2 hours. I would take it first thing in the morning and then late after...
I started my 3rd week on the 21st and on the 24th i was awaken around 2:30AM with a bad itchy rash on back of my neck and ears. Went to the Dr and he had me stop Contrave and put me on steroids, as it may be an allergic reaction. On the 26th my hands were so swollen and red, and even hurt/burned when touched. my right eye was also swollen. Is it possible it could be due to the increased dosage? I want to get back on it, as it works very well. no other side effects till this. I've lost 9#;s since the 7th. ## Hello, Steffy! How are you? No, your doctor is right, those symptoms do sound more like an allergic reaction, which most likely means you won't be able to go back on this medication, since such reactions usually tend to get worse repeated exposure. However, there are other we...

What is it? White oblong pill with tiny blue specks, scored and the the markings of K 35 on one side and plain white on the other side? I was told it is phentermine by a weight loss clinic. Is it? ## Hello, Rusty! How are you? Is the marking possibly K 25? If so, this tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and yes, they do list it as containing 37.5mgs of Phentermine. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, anorexia and unpleasant taste.
