I have a round, white, pill with a black R on one side and 550 on the other side. i have strep throat and i was givin a shot that doesnt seem to be working. i have some of these pills left over from when i had a problem before i was wondering scence they are an anti inflamitory if they would help with the shot of pin that i got or if it would mess with it. so is it safe to take even though i got the shot? ## Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it would only help with pain and not the infection. However, without knowing what was in the shot they gave you, I cannot possibly answer your question. I would need the name of the medication to check for any problems or possible interactions between it and the Diclofenac. Can you post back with this information?
