Diclofenac For Trigger Finger (thumb)

My insurance won't cover any treatment for trigger finger (it's actually my thumb) but my doctor put me on 75mg Diclofenac 2x/daily. How long does it typically take to get rid of this condition? I've had trigger thumb for a month now and the doctor just put me on Diclofenac last week because it didn't just go away on it's own. I'm basically wondering how much longer I have to have a useless left hand! LOL

There is really no specific time frame that can be given, it really depends on how severe it is, your own body's rate of healing and etc.

Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it can help with pain and swelling.

Learn more Diclofenac details here.

Has your doctor given you any other advice, such as using cold and warm packs, or etc?
