UpdatedWhat is the difference between the ER suffix and the DR suffix?

In action of the medication, there is no difference. One stands for delayed released and one for extended release, but they both refer to the same thing, a medication that is in a time released formulation. There are several different abbreviations you may see for this, the ones you listed and SR or XR are also commonly used.
