double dosed on Tresiba 9 hours ago. after taking my BS started to RISE and in a hr & half it was 150 points higher, then it began to go down to 120 ..now it is rising again. HELP It is now night and I don't want a high like this morning to damage my kidneys which are low function. ## Why did you take a double dose of it? And what did you eat? Even though you take this medication, you can't expect it to do everything, you have to help it work by eating a low fat, low sugar diet, and getting lots of proper exercise to help control your blood sugar, according to the NIH. As to the Tresiba, it doesn't start working until a few hours after taking it, so you will not see an immediate lowering, according to the manufacturer.

Hello doctor... I have pcos., doctor suggest me to take metformin 500mg a day. After take it for a week I got my periods,from then periods got regular for 6 months. I have been type 2, for 10 years, 3 years ago I was put on Sitagliptin, then last year on Invokana, lost weight and also lowered sugar numbers, then instead of using diet and excercise I just used the tabets to keep sugars down, then sugars went to 8.7 HBAC1, was put on Victoza and both medications stopped, in last 3 months, my sugars on Victoza sky rocketed to 11.9 HBAC1. After a massive argument with the GP, I asked to be put back in Januvia and Invokana, my sugars over the last months have been in their 15 to 20, I took one tabet of each yesterday, and my number are in single figures, I have vowed to keep drinking more, do my excercises and also now go on a low carb diet, I am grateful for these new medications, without which my sugars was out of control, and my next option was Insulin

I was pre diabetic and my dr prescribed Tanzeum I took 5 week shots of Tanzeum and did not seam to have problems, I thought! I felt a little tired, my legs were feel weak but didn't think much of it. After the 5th week of shots the next day I starting feel like I had the flu, then I started having a rash, I want to my dr and he gave me a steroid shot. The 3rd day I wasn't any better my rash had spread and I was very weak. I was trying to treat rash as much as I could. The next day I could hardly walk and decided I'd better go to the hospital.
