This is for my 84 yr old Mother. ## Metformin is on WalMart's $4 plan, which Target copys. At either place, you can get 30d for $4; at WalMart (maybe Target too, not sure) you can get 90d for $10 ## You can get it at Publix pharmacy free ## I think the advice provided by the other posters is good and you should check it out. Since this is a generic medication, there aren't regular assistance programs to help with it. Does you mother have any type of insurance coverage? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, stomach pain, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia.

They can be found under various names related to the evolution of the product- FWGE, Fermented Wheat Germ Extract, Ave, Avemar, Metatrol and Metatrol Pro. Each evolution has produced a stronger product. The Original Avemar coming out of Europe is a foul tasting large amount of powder and not desirable in my opinion. It's been 2 yrs since I experienced erectile dysfunction. Have visited a number of Dr's. For help but to no avail. One dr diagnosed with hypertension, acute cardiac condition and kidney complications. As chronic diseas treatment I take metformin, zartan Co 50/12,5 & simvascor 10 mg tablets. Could this treatment be the cause for my ed? IF YES what else is a viable in the market that can reverse the current condom? I am desperate indeed. ## Yes, the medications could be the cause of your ED, according NIH reports. You may also experience dizziness, headache, nausea, dry mouth, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Sitagliptin phosphate 100 mg tab by MSG Pharma. ## My husband is on Januvia 100mg. for 5 weeks now and his dugar level has gone up to 335. Before he started taking it he was 219. I received my metformin 500 Er pills, white elliptical, for diabetes 2. I was given 3 bottles 360 each. I opened the 3rd bottle and noted the pills are a little smaller and instead of IP 178 on the pill...it has 101 imprinted on one side and the other side is blank. What did they give me. I JUST GOT A REFILL ON MY METFORMIN. THE NEW NAME ON IT IS AMNEAL AND IT IS LIKE NOT TAKING ANYTHING AT ALL. MY SUGARS HAVE BEEN IN THE 340 RANGE. MY SUGARS HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS HIGH. With sugar levels that high, you need to see your doctor. If the pills from Amneal aren't working for you, you may need to switch to a different medication for awhile. Glipizide (10mg) - made by Accord Healthcare - used for type-2 diabetes 2. I have been on norspan patches 20mg for 18 months. I have ended up with tinnitus. could you please tell me how to get off norspan ## After 17 months of Norspan use I too concur regard tinnitus and its getting louder. My father is 87 years old has diabetes type 1 but well controlled. He is also bedridden because his thigh bone got fracture and joined with metal support 2 years ago. I am on 30mg once a week with 2000mg of metformin a day. It has been a month for me and it is not fun. My hopes are that my body will get use to the meds so the side effects will stop. I take 2 tablets in the morning at breakfast and 2 tablets at dinner time. I was advised recently to test my sugar 2 hours after each meal for beakfast, lunch and dinner. They said it should be under 140. I can not get under 141 after breakfast, it is usually around 220. Two hours after lunch it is usually below 140, even though i do not take any tablets at lunch. I have tried taking the tablets 1 hour before i eat breakfast and the results are closer to 140. The only time i show bad results is at breakfast. Can you explain whe i should take the tablets? After hospitalized she was on glucose and was not given food to eat as per doctors advised and also susten 400 capsule she is having.
