Dark pink oblong pill with S114 on one side/not scored, plain on other side ## I posted the questions about an oblong pill with S114 on one side. I have since found out that that is a 5114 on the pink oblong pill and it is Darvocet-N 100. Thank you for any help you were trying to give me.!! ## That is correct, it contains 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. I am glad you discovered what it was, however, it is very important to inform you that these tablets have been pulled from the market by the FDA. Propoxyphene has been found to be cardiotoxic. In this instance, you should make certain that this pill is properly disposed of. Are there any comments or questions?

peach or red orange ## I just learned that I can no longer get Darvocet in the USA. Nor can i order it from canadadrugs. This is a tremendous problem for me because I suffer from sever stenosis of the lumbar spine and, in addition, I take a blood thinner. Because of the blood thinner, I cannot take any aspirin or aspirin derivative. I would like to know if anyone knows where in the world I can purchase this drug. I have a perscirption for it from my regular family doctor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

white ovel ## This would be a generic version of Darvocet, a mild narcotic analgesic. Propoxyphene is the active ingredient, a mild opiate, and the APAP is medical speak for 650mgs of Acetaminophen. ## does this drug contain codeine?? ## Has anyone taking this had a problem withfluid retention? small white oval pill, one side APO the other side pr 50 ## This is NOT Darvocet. Apotex does not even make a version of Darvocet. This is actually supposed to APO TR 50, not PR. Sometimes their imprints aren't printed really well so it is hard to tell. a m in a box on one side the other has 1772 on it ## I'm sorry, I can't possibly post a picture of all Darocet medications, once a medication is available in generic form, it is made by many different manufacturers and there are tons of them on the market, which will all look different and have different markings. I can, however, confirm that M 1772 does contain 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene and is a generic for Darvocet, a mild narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. already took 2 darvasets can i take a delotta in extreme pain just had foot surgery ## Mixing them is not recommended, since they both contain Narcotics. Darvocet is a pretty mild narcotic, containing Propoxyphen and Acetaminophen. The Dilaudid is much stronger and contains Hydromorphone. However, if you mix them, you run the risk of worsening side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. You could also inadvertently cause yourself to overdose. Have you tried contacting your doctor or pharmacist for a recommendation?

how long is darvocet detected in your urine after taking it ## On average, most opiates linger about 3 days, depending on how much you took and how often, if you were loading up and taking it all the time, it might be a little longer, if you were an occasional user, a little less. If you are asking this, then I am assuming it was not prescribed for you by your doctor. Has not given me any relief. There are no proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry for colors, shapes, or sizes of pills. That is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. What is the country of origin for Davoset? ## Did you mean Darvocet? It really depends if you are asking about a generic or the name brand. The name brand sold as Darvocet is made in the U.S. by Eli Lilly and Company. This does not, however, apply to the generic forms of it that are available. Do you have any other questions?

What is in Darvocet "5112 V"? Is it as effective as Vicodin 750? ## 5112V is a generic Darvocet, which contains Acetaminophen 650mg + Propoxyphene 100 mg. It is a narcotic pain reliever, but is different from Vicodin because it contains Propoxyphene instead of Hydrocodone. The Vicodin 750 which you are talking about contains Acetaminophen 750 mg + Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. fat white oblong pill not scored with a /o circle with a line through it ## Are there any other markings on the pill? I was unable to locate this exact pill. ## No other markings. I found it in my drawer and didn't recognize it. Thought it might be a darvocet, but not sure. ## This sounds like vitamin D tablets. Mine are white with nothing on one side; the other has a circle with a line through it. If you look at it closely (upright) it almost looks like an airplane from one angle or a y (sideways). Hope this helps. ## I have an oblong pill with a circle on both sides andh a line thru the circle at an angle. I don't remember what it is & don't have any more to compare it with. Any ideas would be helpful.

I understand Darvocet may be taken off the market because of related deaths due to overdoseage and depression leading to suicide. I can fully understand these reasons, but I think we must look further. A medication that provides little to no relief of pain, such as Darvocet, may lead to depression and suicide may be the only way to stop the pain for some individuals. I understand this, I am contemplating suicide if I cannot get relief for the pain I have due to what may be a compressed cervical nerve root. Overdosage may not be related solely to the desire for the sense of euphoria, but to the desire for pain relief. I developed pain from T-1 across my left scapula and radiating down my left arm, with severe muscle spasms - at times it looks like someone stluffed an egg under my skin. I...
