Dalmane Contraindications

Are there any contraindications associated with this sleep aid medication?

My husband almost died after taking Dalmane. I believe the doctor is at fault. From my research Dalmane was contraindicated. He has Hep C and is on blood pressure meds and anti-depressants. Any thoughts?
