I want to thank the DEA on behalf of millions of people who's had there doctor's prescribed prescriptions changed from a class III to a class II on Oct. 6th 2014. Hope the hell you don't find yourself in need of pain medicine in your coming years. I sure would like to know what your little secret is going to be to obtain pain relief when you need it. There seems to be no recourse for this change, I thought this was still America, God help us.

@slick, I don't blame you one bit. It's beginning to look a lot like the survival of the fittest now when it comes to the scarcity of available working pain meds. Only the one's on top with a special badge on their chest seem to have say over what you are or aren't allowed to take based on their misconstrued policies, greed, and thirst for power/control.

Unfortunately I don't see this changing anytime soon, thus, leaving only a few options for legitimate patients to turn to who aren't getting what they need from their doctor - because their action is being closely monitored by the DEA.

This can be a vicious cycle; especially if you're unable to find alternative remedies that are safe to use alongside these lesser effective pain meds. Turning to the streets or moving to another country where everything is legal are often choices that serious patients in debilitating pain have to make in order to continue maintaining whatever quality of life they had on the medication.

Hopefully another resolution will open up down the road, but from what I can tell it doesn't seem like there's much you can do at this point in so far as getting the approval you need from a legitimate doctor/pharmacy.
