Cyproheptadine: How Long Does It Take To Gain Weight?

I'm 17 and the doctor told me I had gallstones, and so I've literally been eating foods with no fat, non greasy, and it caused my weight to deteriorate dramatically. I wasn't pleased at my weight at all. And so I did some research and found out about periactin bin on the pill for a month and the results are amazing!!! Butt growth, thigh growth, arms and a little bit of stomach. I love it !! I'm currently still on the pill I honestly fell in love with my weight. It workssss!!!

The only problem with it is that the weight gain is just a side effect, so you might lose it all, again, once you stop taking it, according to NIH reports. Side effects are usually transient, so they tend to go away with time, once your body gets used to a medication, or once you stop taking it.

How much do you weigh and how tall are you? Those can both be factors in how much you should weigh.

I am 15 and I have been taking cyproheptadine for a few days now. I took it before, but my parents told me I couldn't anymore because of how tired it made me, which was understandable. When I first started taking the medication, before, I didn't really notice a change in my appetite because I was just sleeping all the time, but the longer you take the medication, the more your body gets used to it and the less tired you get. Once the sleepy stage wares off, you should notice an increase in your appetite. I could literally eat an entire cow for every meal!! Like I said, it's only been a few days...I haven't gained any noticeable weight yet, but the scale has went up 3 pounds! I used to be 110 and I am now 113..my goal is 125

Is it safe to start taking the tablet if you are diabetic? I'm on chronic medication and I am noticing my weight is dropping since my appetite is dropping too.

I took cypro b plus for two weeks. Noticed a little weight gain, but now I am experiencing a terrible abdominal pain which comes once in the day and also around midnight. Could this be one of its side effects, or something else? Someone please help.
