Cymbalta Good For Neuropathy Bad For Your Head
UpdatedI've just tried Cymbalta for 90 days. From the first it greatly helped my diabetic neuropathy in my feet. However after 2 months, I started gaining weight, and having irrational thoughts. I also had a bad taste in my mouth. I tapered off the drug for my own mental well being. I'm looking for another anti-depressant that doesn't have these side effects.

These are common side effects to this medication, however, not everyone experiences them.
This is an SSNRI antidepressant, so you may want to speak to your doctor about just trying an SSRI or perhaps an MAOI.

Has your doctor made any suggestions?
