Cymbalta And Deprokote Adverse Interaction

I am in prison with a badly stumped toe with continued pain now diagnosed as some form of arthritis. I am bipolar taking Deprokote and have been given a green capsule (Cymbalta), I guess for "arthritis" toe pain. I was told the green capsule was Feldene. Friend informed me that Feldene is in blue/maroon capsule or maroon capsule; not green. Is Cymbalta the only drug in a green capsule or pill? Friend also said Cymbalta should not be taken by bipolars. Help!

No, there are many medications that are green, so the color will not identify it.

Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, which is an SNRI antidepressant and these medications have also been shown to help with some forms of nerve pain.

It can be taken by people with bipolar disorder, however, combining it with Depakote can raise the sodium and potassium to dangerous levels, so such usage should be monitored by a doctor.

Feldene, however, also comes in other colors, so it still could have been that, or something entirely different.
