Could This Be Serotonin Syndrome Or Just A Bad Reaction?

Can serotonin syndrome be caused by 20 mg of brintellix and 100 mg of seroquil? I am very sensitive to meds and any minor change in medication dosage. I am experiencing bad anxiety and agitation as well as severe diarrhea. Anything that I eat comes out the other way immediately as liquid. I have lost 5 pounds in 5 days. I don't have the flu that I know of. I do not have the serious symptoms of serotonin syndrome though. Could this just be a bad interaction?

Those could also just be side effects of one, or both, of these medications, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications? How long have you been taking these?

Hi. You are taking the highest recommended dose of Brintellix, 20mgs. So your side effects may be because you're taking too high a dose of brintellix. Maybe going down to 15 mgs. may work better for you.
