My husband had a false positive on a hair follicle test for methamphetamine and amphetamine and I think it is because he takes Amlodipine Besylate every day. The hair follicle test results were so high that he would have had to do meth everyday. I know for a fact that he does NOT do meth, but he does take the Amlodipine Besylate 10mg every day and Clonidine 1am & 1pm that is the only meds that he takes on a daily basis. Has there been any documented cases where the Besylate would register in a hair follicle test as a false positive?

Pls help. I am on clonindine and amlodipine for high blood pressure. I have been clean from opioids and any other narcotics for 3 months. I tested positive for benzos twice and I'm clean. How could this happen? I'm desperate to get answers as to what I can do to prove my innocence!!! I could possibly go to prison.
