Could Suboxone Make You Have A Positive Urine Test For Methadone When Dont Take

i tested positive for methadone when my doctor made me take a urine test last week and i have never ever taken methadone. i am on suboxone, could that give me a positive test for methadone?

There are many diffrent things that can and will cause a false positive for methadone and this includes benadryl and some other antihistamines. Hope this helps

Are you sure that someone didn't switch UA'_s on you?the reason I ask is because I go to s Suboxone clinic and we all do our UA in the bathroom and then take the finished specimen up to the front office where it goes into a bucket where all the other u a's are placed and they aren't under lock and key so they are easily available!As a matter of fact...I have had a problem lately where I have had 3 tests in a row come back with NO Suboxone in it AT ALL,and I'm in some serious stuff over it and its got me feeling crazy because I haven't cleaned my system out,I have no reason to.and I definitely take my Suboxone EVERYDAY!I'd be a mess without it!I'm scared to death cuz if I get kicked off the program they will take away my Suboxone and I CANT afford not to take it!It saved my life,gave me my family back,took me from being a homeless herion addicted prostitute to living in my own home,my family has accepted me into their lives,I am 6 months SOBER,I am building a reltionship, with my sister,my mom my nephews,my own children and GID.All the things that my addictions took away from me Suboxone HSS helped me to get back for the first time since 1997! I really hope everything works out f/you!I've been where your at.please stay focused on what you are trying to do and don't let Anything take you back!Say a prayer and stick with it!

See and I'm kind of going through the same thing but a little backwards I go to the methadone clinic and the last two drug test they gave me came back positive for Suboxone but I've never taken Suboxone in my life

I took 15 ml of liquid methadone and 10 days later had a drug screen not knowing they rest for it. I've never taken it before but I do take diazepam and suboxone prescribed to me. Whats the likelihood of a negative or positive test

Whatever is in your system can be exactly identifiable with analysis of a urinalysis. Suboxone and anything with opiates in it will just show up as opiates being your system. Urinalysis given to a lab can show exactly what the drug was, how much of it was used and approximately when administered

Not true at all. They can only tell you what meds are in it not where it came from. They can give you levels not the exact amount. Im on probation and currently in a sle where i test everynight. Picked up my script of subs and noticed they were different. They gave me generic for the first time ever two days later urin test came back positive for methadone which i definitely have not taken. Had my probation officer send into a lab they said results positive for methadone and believe it was from the generic subs but have no way to find out exactly. They said levels were very low.
