I'm trying to find out the cost of one pill of samsca (tolvatan). My family member is on it for hyponaturemia & has cancer as well. I'm not happy with the rehab this person is in as a result of the cost of this med.

There is now a lot of information available for tolvaptan- Samsca-
some insurance does cover. Double check with insurance carriers to see if they cover.

what is the cost of Tolvaptan in India ? My mother needs it and is not covered by her insurance. She has ended up in hospital four times during the last four months because of hyponatremia and siezures. Please guide. Thx.

Lori, I'd be careful about Tolvaptan for PKD. Friends of mine have suffered permanent kidney damage from Tolvaptan. How much will you take? How often? Who's monitoring your creatanine and liver functions? How will you know if it's effective? Finally, are you ready to pee every hour on the hour for the rest of your life, day and night? If you do this, please see a nephrologist who understands this medication and it's side effects.

The cost of. tolvaptan drug is 15 mg 99 rs and 30 mg is 189 rs in indian rupees. The drug is usfda approved

even I have PKD (early stage, diagnosed 3yrs back with creatinine still at 1.0-1.1) and my Nephrologist has prescribed Tolvaptan today but only 7.5mg a day (1/2 tab). The price in India is approx 100/-, i.e. 1.5$ a tab

Just found out that there is a brand of Tolvaptan tablets in India 'Hyponat O' from Zydus Cadilla that is priced INR 390/- for 10tabs of 15mg, i.e approx $ 0.50 per tab. Others are approx same price for 4's in India. Available even online on Netmeds, 1mg etc.
