I cant even get in a suboxone dr where i live..the waiting list is ridiculous.so ive been getting them from a "friend" every 2 weeks..she charges me $20 a pc when she gets em for $5 pc.i need one a day to be able to be productive at work etc but bcuz what she charges me i have been paying $400 every month for only 20 subs.i cant keep doing this.i use subs bcuz i dont ever wanna start using pills again.does anybody know anywhere i can get subs cheaper and without the long waiting list etc..i have 3 kids and cant afford to be screwed over from my so called friend anymore..lol

Tks for sharing your story. Most people don't know how powerfully effective this drug is (if used properly). For 20 years I fought H addiction. People do not understand that this is not easy to kick - and after all of the home remedies street trick, detoxes etc - nothing every worked. The only time I was able to abstain was when I was in jail, which was often the case as I did what ever I could to sustain my habit. All I ever wanted was to live a normal life free from the insanity. This drug has helped me in an amazing way. I am on it for 11 years - living an amazing functional life. Some may think it is a temporary drug that you ween off of. For me it has not been (although everyone is different). My life is no longer broken, so I attempt not to fix it by getting off of the drug. Unfortunately, my doctor (who has stood by me for 11 years) is leaving private practice, and I cannot find a doctor to take me. It is apparent that this drug too has been abused, and sold on the street market, etc. It attracts a certain type of people (those addicted) and many doctors are cautious. I am frightened that I may not be able to locate a doctor willing to take me on and without medication be left with unhealthy options.

Ask yr doctor for generic subutex (say you are having an allergic reaction to the noxilin) in suboxone it's so much cheaper! !!

Just move to Australia mate... Doctor consultation $0 zero dollars.... weekly dosage no matter what mg's = $35.00... works out at $5 bucks a day... I feel sorry for U.S ect, - health system is a corrupt rip-off... I bet they keep you guys on 2mg strips with 0.5 mg's of filthy Naloxone & very hard to cut up evenly, whereas over here they switch to 0.4 mg's Subutex tabs when your dose goes under 2 mg's so you can taper properly & succeed... 1.6/1.2/0.8/.04 ect... I finally rid myself of that rubbish after 12 months starting at 16 mg's, which is ridiculously high anyways, should have only been 6-8 mg's initial dose for a 120 mg daily habit of oxy... I would've copped the original opiate detox with benzos if I could turn back time... half-life is a killer, binds so tight to receptors, long twisted drawn out withdrawal... I would rather curl up in a ball, twitch & crap myself for 7 days than lose 12 months & suffer 8 weeks suicidal & pounding headaches after jumping off at 0.4...

If AT ALL POSSIBLE ask your doctor for Subutex. You'll most likely not get them, however they are $5/pill cheaper. Never hurts to ask.

I have no ins. either. My pharmacist splits them up. I buy 6 at times then some days I can only get one. They are really good about it. I get them at rite-aid. They are 9$ a piece there.

Subocone is much more easier gettin off!! I gighlu suggest it. Ive veen on both, methidone us Pure hell. Goes in bones,wiyhdrawls Ill Never ecer forget. Suboxyne is a much "cleaner" n effective drug

Your ignorance is astounding. I don't understand why every m***** trying to insult someone brings up who they are voting for. I cannot wait until this election is over so people like you will just shut up about it. I am not a Bernie supporter. Nor am I "left" or "right". Unless you are talking about which hand is most dominant. I am ambidextrous. I use both sides of my brain. People were talking about where to get their prescription filled for cheaper. They are paying out of pocket. That means they don't have any insurance, let alone state insurance in which you so kindly pay for. The people that are on Suboxone cost tax payers a considerable amount less money than being addicted to drugs does. The people doing drugs do not want it anyway. Do you know anything about it? Why even be on this site? Ah that's right, to put people down so you feel better about your narcissistic self. I work 55-80 hours a week. I contribute to society, help people and make the world a more positive place. What do you do for a living? Your post just shows how angry you are. You can make an appointment to discuss some of these issues or maybe medication would be more effective? It would be nice to be happy, don't you think?

I need help im on
#30 SUBOXONE 8-2MG FILM
I HAVE PAID $120 PER OV 3X A MONTH =$360 for a 3 min visit with Dr. Julian Kutzinsky in Sterling Heights, Michigan PLUS $136 for a 15 day supply of rx SUBOXONE films. He tells me you cannot get medicaid they turn you down all the time.
How can i get assistance when this doc is too lazy to apply on my behalf??

Im on medicaid, im Unemployed, and my mother is refusing to help now. My dad is helping but is about to stop too.

Ask you doctor for subutex it much cheaper and does the same thing . It's in a pill form but it does not have the blocker

Yes I agree. I am on 12 mg/3mg Suboxone strips and used to be on 8mg/2mg strips. I have researched online that a lot of people prefer the subutex tabs over strips. I had never tried the tabs before and knew someone who got them so I traded out of curiosity. I was extremely disappointed in the tabs. I even tried them a second time to make sure and can tell you with certainty that the strips are much, much better. If you are unsure on which to use, go with the strips......they saved my life!! Thank-you Suboxone!!!!!

I actually just got 90 8mg Suboxone strips today. And yes with all insurances you have to get "approval" because they aren't medically necessary according to i****s. But it only took a day and I am paying 70$ for 90 of them. 80 cent a piece. I have health net. In CA

Check it out dogg, I'm 34 too and didn't think I'd live much longer myself by my hand if I kept it up. I live in Tucson so Idk how it is there but u would guess that most cities have some kind of place like we have here which is a behavioral health clinic for mostly addicts (even though they're few in number and have to do some research as to where in ur area to find the places) but I am being prescribed 3 mg strips everyday and even without Insurance which I don't have, they are 100% FREE EVERY WEEK! So hopefully there's places like that in ur area too. Just do some asking around and googling/research and I think/hope you'll be able to find somethin there too...it took me just a little of research to find it here and has been a lifesaver, so don't give up dogg, it's totally worth the effort to at least try...good luck homey!

I really enjoyed reading your post. I think all of us who have been exactly were you were at your lowest point can relate too everything you just said. After I finally set my mind to try to get back to myself before getting addicted I truthfully think Suboxone really saved my life. I'm down to 2mg A day but I've seem to of hit A wall there. I don't know if it's just all in my mind or what but if I don't take my 2mg A day I feel horrible. I wish they would come out with A 1mg & A .05mg tablet or even A strip. Even though I'm having trouble trying to take A smaller dose A day I know for A fact I wouldn't be were I am now if it weren't for Suboxone. I could have very easily been dead by now. If you take it like your suppose to than you really can beat this horrible addiction we all have been through. People call it an addiction but it's really more like A curse. None of us meant to get addicted to anything, but one day you wake up and realize that you already are an by then you have A hard road ahead. Take Suboxone like your suppose to and you can get your life back and beat this curse. I'll never take another pain pill for as long as I live!!!
