Have no insurance. Where can I fill my Suboxone prescription cheap? Paying 320 dollars for a 30 day supply - 8mg
I used to get the strips i was paying 7.60 a piece from CVS with a prescription card and switched over the the generic tabs and now iam just paying 3.80 a pill... This card has saved me hundreds a month hope it helps you all as much as it did me!!!
Well if u have been a good little patient and no dirty u.a's talk to your dr about switching to regularl bupenorphone with no nalaxone , that Woukd be generic for subutex not generic for suboxone , I'm still griping about paying but my dr switch about 9 months ago because I couldn't afford suboxone at 2.5 tabs a day it was 900 a month , I have never had a dirty u.a in 6 years I been on so my dr had a little trust to switch me , we called out every option there was , and generic subutex is the cheapest over all of them at 5.00 a pill , same stuff just no nalaxone , no blocker . So I been on for 6 years same dr same drug no dirty u.a that's why he was okay with the switch ,I had to cut it bak 0.4mg but
Now I'm on 2 pills a day and pay 238.00 at Walmart , thank god someone believed in me and it's not often a dr. Will do that but I also proved myself to him , so coodles for me
Since NC has regressed back to the dark ages here recently it may be hard to find on an income based payment. I grew up in Ashe County by the way :)
Anyways I'm not sure how the health, rehab and otherwise are running down there but your best bet is to Google suboxone addiction detox and maintenance programs in your area, and surrounding areas. Might help to look up to several hours away as it's only at most a once a month trip, that in my opinion would be totally worth driving.
Suboxone.com, has a zip code search.
Good luck :)
I would like to know if you are aware of where I could obtain Suboxone for the least amount of money. I live in Raleigh, NC and have no insurance.
It's hard but u can do it. There should be an 800 number on ur insurance card for help with mental health/ substance abuse. I live in michigan n am a single mom been clean 4 years my insurance covers my suboxone and I who've seen addicting specialist and my current primary doctor is who takes care of all my meds including suboxone. I have access to the resources for helping you in the right direction if u need further help u can reply to this and I will help u the best I can if u want to pass ur name and email we can do it that way. Let me know if u have more questions. Thanks positive thoughts support system equal positive outcome.
Did you look in surrounding areas? I got lucky and have one a few miles away but most that come to the local one drive from hours away. Literally hours away. Which if you're only making the trip once a month isn't so bad. Another FYI, most doc's dont accept insurance, guess it's too difficult to get approved for sub treatment, whatever, but anyway you might want to ask about your insurance first, if they don't accept ask.how much cash visits are. Call several and compare rates. Ask your insurance if they cover RX suboxone too
I have googled docs and called doc offices still no help is there some kind of hot line or 800# that would help and I have insurance through gateway so if u have Any ideas pleez help I was on methadone for six years n got kicked off so to not be sick I had to go back to bad habbits and I'm a mom I need to be well for my kids so I want to go on suboxone so i can lead a normal life again
That's right u are correct thanks for the gratitude today , I needed it . I never wanna have to use any system to get meds , but the bottom line I need them so I gotta pay for them . My point is it's a struggle but I kno I have to stay healthy no matter the cost . Thanks I'll continue to work hard in my
Life hahahhahah
Just GOOGLE suboxone doctors in your area. You'll have results. ...
I would call several different ones if you don't have insurance and plan on paying out of pocket. It can be rather expensive. I would try calling your local/county mental health center too, if they have a suboxone program they will most likely base the cost on your income.
Even if paying out of pocket I'm sure it will be a less costly habit then the one you pay for now.
First if you have insurance call the number on the back for mental health. Or search for a addiction specialist in your area which you can do by google search. If you don't have insurance respond to this or email me directly if your serious and I can help give u resources as to what step to take next. Any questions please ask I remember being in the exact spot your in back in 2009 I will do as much as I can to point anyone looking for help into the right direction. {edited for privacy}
Ummmm I'm sorry but I happen to work and I work very hard , I have worked my f***ing entire life and hard . Don't talk to me about tax dollars. I pay enough on my property and on people that get this med for free every month and who misuse it. Don't assume people don't work and you paying for them , cause I'm in the same boat . U think I ain't paying for these people to get their meds while I suffer , they go to ER everyday , u think I can even see a dr without being charged ridiculously while they get everything for nothing . Hahahah wow you are dumb to sit there and think I haven't paid in enough . Lemme tell u they owe me . They owe me . I tell u I paid in my entire life for these people that live on the system. Please go someplace else and not here because you will never know wat it's like to be on this med your whole life and hate every minute of it.
I live in lebanon county pa how do i get on suboxone i need a number a name a website anything. I'm sooo ready to quit pleez help !!!!
Im glad my hard earned tax dollara can keep you un "sober"
Bulls*** , I get nothing . Let me tell ya I'm sick to death of hearing people say yea dude I get my 90 suboxone a month for 3 bucks . And here I woke my ass off and I can't get any help at all my insurance refuses to pay and now I'm stuck with a crappy insurance plan and can't get help nowhere because I'm not low income ?? That bulls*** too . Really because I don't sit around all day and I work and take care f my family I can afford 700-900 a month , ? Hahahhaha please this is it . I'm starting a war over this s*** . Suboxone here to help won't help because god forbid I'm not below that %250 proverty level , an here is another thing they won't help because I have insurance hahahahhahaha I site do but I have fought for the past year to get this trashy insurance to help me with my suboxone and they refuse . So hey now I kno why people stay home and draw welfare , you get it all . Free meds , free doctors , free dentists
I live in Delaware and have always paid 3.00 co-pay for 14 12mg suboxone films. This is because of Delawares free medical ins. for the poor ( unwilling to work ). Weell, as of Sept. 1 2013 the jokes on me. The new Medicaid policy is as follows,. Only 1 8mg film will be covered per day and a consistant decrease in dosage must take place over a 6 month period leading to a suboxone free client. The extra 4mgs I get have to come out of my pocket. Heres the catch. I get perscribed 14 12mg films every 14 days. Not 28 8mg films so I pay all or nothing. Medcaid covers 10 12mg films. The other 4 at $14.00 each goes directly to me. Meaning my script now costs $56.00 insted of $.50
Your story is wonderful.....it has inspired me. Today is Day One for me......I'm finally going to get some help after over 40 years. I wish you grace and am going to take the route you are...just reset, don't take too much on and just be. Thank you.
I feel your PAIN,what I have been recommended to do by my Dr is to go to the suboxone web site and you can print out a 50 dollar coupon that really does save you 50 dollars but you can only it 1 time in a 30 day period,Not once a month but one time in thirty days,,,, Its not alot but anything helps. I have lived in 3 states since I have been on Suoxone and if anyone would like you can email me and I cant help you with the information I have on where you can Suboxon the cheapest,,,My Name is Scott and my email is {edited for privacy} ide be more than happy to help
That's completely true, I paid the 250 a month for the doc appt and then I would fill my script PARTIALLY once a week. Which cost about 88 bucks. I asked my doctors receptionist and she had misinformed me that they're office already had their 'Here to Help' program maximum met (three per doctor)....I took it upon myself to call the program myself and was informed that I would be the only patient on the program.
Here to Help is available to patients that don't have any insurance. Your income doesn't matter at all. If you get insurance at a later date just call them and inform them and will cancel in case you lose your !you will still have it available in case you lose it again. It only covers your prescription costs for a year.
But like said below, even when I paid around 600 a month including script cost and appt cost, it was A cheaper then my 2-400 dollar a day habit!
Call someone, if you're serious, if not leave the space you would take for someone who is.
Edgar, this is Ash from Ohio. I had an appointment at a place set up for you in your area. Did it not work out?
Hope you're doing well...
Yes, Suboxone is an expensive medication, even if you do have some type of health insurance coverage. Only a select number of doctors can prescribe it to a limited number of patients, giving them the power to set their prices as high as they like. No, it doesn't seem fair but these are just the facts of life.
I would just like to mention something that should hopefully put things in perspective. How much did you spend EVERY single DAY in order to support you habit? I'm sure for the vast majority it is well over the cost of your doctors visit and the $250-400 a month you are spending on your legally prescribed Suboxone prescription.
All pharmacies will let you pick up partial prescriptions if it is easier to break up the cost over the course of the month. And just about any doctor that prescribes this medication should be able to provide with discount cards/coupons that you can use with or without insurance.
