agree bout bud but some people do need suboxone, i know cuz im one of em. It is a good thing for me, despite its flaws, the pros outweigh the cons in my case.

I COULDN'T GET MEDICAID TO COVER MY SUBOXONE BECAUSE THERE IS NO "WEAN OFF PLAN". LONG STORY HOW I GOT ON IT BUT IT SEEMS THE COMBINATION OF SUBOXONE AND CYMBALTA I AM PRESCRIBED FOR DEPRESSION BUT HELPS PAIN MANAGEMENT REALLY HELPS MY BACK. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TAKE AN OPIATE THAT WILL MAKE ME HIGH - WHICH IRONICALLY THE INSURANCE WOULD PROBABLY PAY FOR!

Yeah, and every doctor whose able to prescribe narcotics has a DEA#.

As for finding a subutex friendly doctor, I go to a clinic with several locations and several physicians although you only see one but anyways, the people I know that go there and get subutex say they tell the doctor that suboxone gives them headaches or they need a cheaper option. Or if female you're thinking about getting pregnant or if you're breastfeeding. I know a girl who tells her doc she's been trying to and having a hard time getting pregnant.

is each state differant with medicaid because I have someone that I care for and she has medicaid and not working I live in new york if u do to msybe u can give me the dr name

Yeah that's not right I know in michigan w/I insurance 1 is 11.99 but the more u get the cheaper it is. What state r u in? I know some primary physicians can do scripts for buphrenorphine naloxone so mayb u can call round and ask if there's primary docs that can do it. Worth a try cuz no real friend would do that.

I SELF medicate subs ,my advice to most of you is research what you're taking no one needs as much as some of you are taking I started at 4mgs the first and 2 mgs daily after that for a week then went down .5 mgs a week until I'm currently taking 0.5 mgs a day that's cutting a strip into 16 pieces and going to .25 next week. Then plan on skipping days and stopping. So. stop listening to doctors who only subscribe as they were taught by the maker of the pill google suboxone read others are doing to be free of opiates or at least learn how to get your usage down..

The prices are threatful, here in iran every 10pills of subixon is only 4$.
i prefer to quit it rather than paying 600$ amonth

Then you paid $5.9 per 8mg, so $8.50 is almost 50% more. Suggesting they stock up at $8.50......because soon they'll have to pay $5.90 for 8mg.......makes no sense at all

I was trying to do methadone clinic here in Muskegon, MI. and funding was denied which costs $80 per week. The only option I had was suboxone 8mg.-2mg. films which are $187 per 7 days and $3 copay for me. So in Michigan you are forced into it at a $428 higher cost per month. They are awesome but how the f*** do you get off them quickly? What a crock of s***.

I been on them since 9/05 and were a godsend. I was on a high dose of done and the price went shy high. I kept my ins when I retired and damn glad I did. I pay $3.40 for 90 8's.

Ive been on 10mg narco since 2007, my pain mgmt Dr after so many procedures stopped seeing me for Almost 5 years but kept prescribing me the meds with a refill plus 6 and I got highly addicted. Ive come down from over 20 a day to 6 a day but I need suboxone to help me get off completely cause I'm scared. How do I get suboxone to help me come off them completely....any suggestions to help....

What program are in you using to get a 90 day supply for 3 bucks. I need that help too please. 16 mg/2mg a day for three months now and out of pocket it's over 400 a month. Detail would be a great deal of help.
