Cosentyx Needle Malfunction
UpdatedThe needles of this month's Cosentyx shots (the hippy pen) have had a problem, whereas the actual needle stayed in the cap upon twist removal. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yours is the first complaint I've read of this nature, but I am not online 24/7, either. I would suggest calling Novartis, the manufacturer, they list the number on the Cosentyx site as 1-844-267-3689.
What type of needles are they? Is there a name brand, or do they just come with the Cosentyx? I really hope you can get some resolution with a phone call.
If they don't come with the Cosentyx, and are just provided by your doctor, or pharmacist, I would suggest contacting them about it. I've never known a needle that had a cap that had to be twisted for removal, however, I don't know everything there is to know and will not claim to, I am most familiar with insulin syringes, since my ex-husband and our late pup Claude were diabetic.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including administration site reaction, redness, diarrhea, and cold-like symptoms.
