Continue To Work.
UpdatedI am starting a 10 month program for BCC, and I have a physically demanding job, with a lot of traveling involved. Will I still be able to work and travel while taking this medication?

This contains the active ingredient Vismodegib and it is very new to the market, having only been approved at the end of January of this year.
Thus, this type of information isn't available, yet.
Learn more Vismodegib details here.
This often happens when drugs are new to be approved, because no one has used them under real world conditions, such as working in such a manner.
Have you discussed it with your doctor?
How severe is your BCC?
Started with the medication 7th July, and untill now I feel some small differences in my body-balance, but not that much that blocks it me in my daily work.
The only thing I feel is a bit more tired, but I am not sure if that is debit on the Erivedge medication.
Will keep you in touch.
Hi, I'm 46 and they want to put me on Erevidge for Basal cell Metastasis. Are you still on the medicine and how did it work out for you?
I have been on Erivedge since July 10th. I am a UPS driver so you can imagine I'm concerned about side affects as well. I miss 2-3 months of work a year from surgeries to remove skin cancers. I have had some spread to lymph nodes, which required radiation.. Had my 1st on when I was 20. I am now 44 and would say I have had over 200. Biggest one required 90 stitches. Side affects started about 3 days in with nausea, which has sense subsided. My joints now ache and I am exhausted at the end of the day. I am hoping these side affects go away after my body adjusting to it. Hope it goes well for you.
Hi, I've had very few problems so far. Just the normal hair loss on my eyebrows, occasional cramping, and loss of taste. All in all I'm very happy. It's confirmed it's shrinking my cancer. Please go to {edited for privacy}
I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have or talk with you personally. Steve
That would be great Steve. Ive been running a low grade fever lately in the PM. Im about 2.5 weeks into it. You ever run fever with it? Thanks
Hi Scott, I'd love to tell you some other places that have information but on my last reply someone edited them out. I don't know how to touch base with you. You'll have to ask the moderator if that's possible.
I haven't ever had a fever with the pill. For the first few weeks I had no problems at all.
I'm giving the moderator permission to give you my email at {edited for privacy}.
I hope to talk to you soon.
