Coming Off Levothyroxine

I have been taking levothyroxine for 5wks now, i was borderline when diagnosed. I have had terrible side effects while taking this medication, palputations anxiety unable to sleep headaches and an increase in blood pressure. My gp said i could just stop taking the medication and has taken another blood test. Will i have any withdrawel symptoms.

You may have some, but they shouldn't be too bad, since you were only on it for a few weeks.

When will you get the results of the new blood work?

If you were just borderline, it was probably a little soon to jump to a medication for treatment, especially with all the issues this one is known to cause.
