My dr. put me on lexamil 20mg a day for a month with alzam 0.5mg (3 x a day).
No refill prescription. I have 6 lexamil pills left and a lot of alzam as i only took 1 morning and 1 at bedtime. Is this combination safe? And how do i ween myself of this safely?

This type of combination is often prescribed for those suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
The main caveat, however, is that the FDA warns that Alzam/Alprazolam does carry the risk of being habit forming, but that is generally with long term, regular use. That said, if you've only been taking it for a month, a weaning shouldn't be required, unless your doctor feels it is necessary.
Have you consulted them? Are you on any other medications?
