Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine, used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. This class of medications is very well known to be habit forming and experiencing withdrawals and rebound effects, if you suddenly have to stop taking it for some reason, is completely normal and to be expected.

Along with that, a sudden withdrawal of it could also cause seizures.

The regular side effects can include: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache and irritability.
