I am using clonotril 0.5 and i want to come off of it.

Clonotril contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and, if you have been on them for a long time, it can cause some dangerous withdrawal effects if you stop taking it abruptly. These withdrawals can include life threatening seizures, so you should consult your doctor, before stopping it, so they can help you do so in a proper manner.

I have a similar concern and would be glad if you could help.I was on Clonotril 0.25 since 2yrs now along with Rexipra-10 mg.i am experiencing severe stomach disorders while changing the dosage. I visited US last month for two weeks and since i came back i experienced sleep disturbances and anxiety.i discussed this with my doc and he advised to increase the dose to 0.5 and when i did that i felt that there was contraction in my intestines and other related stomach disorders also dizzines during day time.Now these case be two separate things but i feel that they are related.
